You live in a small apartment building. You are frequently bothered by noise from your upstairs neighbour's apartment.

Write a letter to your neighbour. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it is a problem for you.
• suggest a solution.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Daniel,

I hope you are doing well.

I am disappointed to find myself in the position of having to write this letter.

I am facing a lot of inconvenience due to loud noise emanating out from your apartment usually in the wee hours. Sometime, it came from the movement of furniture. Besides, you usually played loud music after 11pm at night.

I had hoped this matter could be resolved without writing to you, but it could not. As you are aware, I am a computer analyst so I had to do work from home. However, I could not slept properly for a last few days because of this irresistant and unbearable sound. Moreover, I am unable to submit my assignment on the due date and this affects my overall productivity level.

It is understandable that loud noise can come from the neighbours but I would appreciate if you lower your music pitch after 11pm. And kindly shift your furniture in the day time.
