I lives in your apartment directly below yours. I talk about the loud noise coming from your floor like heavy foot steps, moving furniture, music system after 11 pm, telivision, etc.
I wake up every day at 6 AM for my daily work and due to late night noise I could not sleep properly at night until 2 AM. Due to lake of sleep I feels tired everyday at work.
Therefore, I kindly request you to please keep noise low after 10 PM and put think rugs on floor to reduce noise level of footsteps. Lastly, If you have any question we talk later.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5
The letter covers all three bullet points: the situation is described, the impact is explained, and a solution is proposed. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a neighbour, although the opening 'Dear Sir/Madam' is slightly impersonal for a neighbour. The ideas are relevant and clearly presented, though the development could be slightly more sophisticated. The purpose of the letter is clear from the outset, and the reader is left in no doubt about the writer's intentions.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5
The letter is logically organised into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. The progression of ideas is easy to follow. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Therefore' and 'Lastly', which help to link the sentences and paragraphs together. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical, and the flow could be improved with more varied linking phrases. Overall, the structure is coherent, and the paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different stages of the request.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their needs clearly. There are some spelling errors, such as 'hp[e' (hope), 'compaint' (complaint), 'appericiate' (appreciate), and 'telivision' (television). While these errors are noticeable, they do not impede communication. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited; using more precise terms like 'disturbing' instead of 'high noise level' or 'incessant' instead of 'loud' would elevate the score. The word choice is generally functional but lacks variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The letter contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'I lives', 'I feels') and verb tense consistency (e.g., 'I talk about', 'we talk later'). There are also minor errors with articles and prepositions (e.g., 'put think rugs on floor'). While these errors are frequent, they do not prevent the reader from understanding the message. To improve, the writer should focus on basic subject-verb agreement and proofreading for common slips.
