You live in a small apartment building. You are frequently bothered by noise from your upstairs neighbour's apartment.

Write a letter to your neighbour. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it is a problem for you.
• suggest a solution.

Dear neighbour,

I am writing this letter to express my concern regarding loud noise from your house.

As you play keyboard loudly most of the time everyday, I get disturbed every time. From the last two one and half month you consequently keep your speaker volume high so because of that I can not study and sleep well as a result I got sick a couple of days ago.

Further, many time I noticed that you always sing weird songs which makes anyone mood rude and sometimes you also play your piano with music. As you are musician I know practice is important but it is not good to do practice by bothering your neighbour. In addition, I several times tried to sleep by putting earbuds in my ear with noise cancelling still it was not worked.

If you want I have solution for that concern. One of my co-worker is working in a music studio and have a great knowledge about music scale and recording so I will talk with him and I sure that he will allow you to practice in his studio for free because studio time is evening all the day.
