You live in a small apartment building. You are frequently bothered by noise from your upstairs neighbour's apartment.

Write a letter to your neighbour. In your letter

Dear John,

I hope you're doing well. I am writing this letter to inform you regarding the botheration that has occurred due to the noise.

As you know, we live in a small building apartment setting, which is highly congested. Sound travels from one place to another quite quickly. I work from home, and it's quite hard for me to focus on my work with distractions. I have been really struggling to have a peaceful morning due to the constant noises of laughter, walking, and running (maybe you work out early morning at home).

I would highly appreciate if you could be a bit mindful regarding this issue. Furthermore, I do understand we tend to do things unintentionally, but somehow, it can cause trouble for the other person living next door. Most of the times I hear loud music; please be cautious with that and, if possible, lower the volume or use headphones.

I hope you understand my concern. Thank you for your patience.
