Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: describing the situation, explaining the problem, and suggesting a solution. However, the development of these ideas is hindered by significant clarity issues. The description of the noise is difficult to follow due to fragmented sentences and confusing phrasing, such as 'near my home also timing was 11 o'clock'. While the purpose of the letter is clear, the lack of precision in explaining why the noise is a problem (e.g., 'some problems are affected with people') makes the communication less effective. To improve, you should focus on structuring your sentences to clearly link the cause of the noise to the specific impact it has on your daily life.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is divided into short paragraphs, which is appropriate for the format. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and sometimes inaccurate, such as the abrupt transition 'that time' or 'some times'. The referencing is also unclear; for example, it is confusing whether you are writing to the neighbour directly or asking them to speak to someone else. The logical flow between the description of the noise and the impact on your family is weak, making the overall message feel fragmented and difficult to follow at times.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and often repetitive, relying on basic words like 'noise', 'problem', and 'bad'. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'we are to much hares' (likely meaning 'harassed') and 'up flows'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary to include more precise terms related to noise complaints and social interactions, and ensure that words are used in their correct grammatical context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of the message. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, incorrect preposition usage (e.g., 'regarding for the noise'), and fragmented sentence structures. Many sentences lack proper punctuation or logical connectors, which makes the writing feel like a series of disconnected phrases rather than cohesive thoughts. While some simple sentences are understandable, there is a lack of control over more complex structures, and the high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to read fluently.
