You live in a small apartment building. You are frequently bothered by noise from your upstairs neighbour's apartment.

Write a letter to your neighbour. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it is a problem for you.
• suggest a solution.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mike,

I am your neighbour who lives in unit 201 which is exactly underneath of your house and I am writing this letter concerning voice that is coming out from your apartment during night times.

As for your knowledge currently, I am preparing for my examination and I only have time for my studies during night times as I work during days. From last couple of weeks this nuisance is disturbing my nights and I am not able to focus on my studies as this noise is too loud. Also I am not even able to get enough sleep as your television voices comes below till morning. This is not only affecting my health but also decreasing my productivity at my work. I feel sleepy all day and not even able to do tasks with full confidence.

I hope you understand my concern and take some action on this matter. I suggest that you should install thick mat on your floors or try to resolve this issue by contacting building management.
