Dear Raj,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to bring to your attention an issue that has been bothering me for the past few weeks.

I live in the apartment directly below yours, Flat No. 3. For the last two weeks, I have been hearing loud noises, especially late at night and early in the morning. It seems like there is constant dragging of furniture and loud music, and sometimes heavy footsteps after 11 pm. On weekends, the noise continues till 1 am.

I wanted to explain why this is a major problem for me. I work night shifts at a local hospital and I sleep during the day, but due to this disturbance I am *not only* unable to sleep properly *but also* feeling extremely tired at work. *If* this noise continues, it will affect my health and my job performance. My 2-year-old daughter also gets scared and wakes up when there is a loud thud from above. *The longer this noise problem continues, the more difficult it becomes for us to live peacefully.*

Therefore, I would like to suggest a possible solution. Could you please try to avoid dragging furniture after 10 pm and perhaps use rugs or carpets to reduce the sound? If you could lower the volume of the music late at night, it would be a great help. I would be happy to discuss this over a cup of tea if you prefer.
