Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of echoing footsteps and blaring loud music at night. This usually happens ate 11.00 pm on every weekdays. So, i am fed up from this persistent noise.
This has become a significant problem for me because i am working woman so this is affecting my sleep. Moreover, i am unable to concentrate on my work. As a result, i am exhausted durinng my daytime shift too.
I would really appreciate it if you keep the volume down or keep noise to a minimum. Forthurmore, you can use headphones. for heavy footsteps avoid wearing heavy shoes or high heels after 10pm.Please find out any solution for this disturbance as soon as possible.
thank you for yourcooperation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response successfully covers all parts of the prompt by describing the situation, explaining why it is a problem, and suggesting practical solutions. The student clearly describes echoing footsteps and blaring music, explains the personal impact of sleep deprivation on her work life as a working woman, and proposes lowering the volume, using headphones, and avoiding heavy shoes. While the bullet points are all addressed, some ideas show a slight tendency towards being under-developed or brief, such as the final request to find any solution. However, the tone is appropriately polite for a semi-formal letter, and the purpose of the communication is well sustained throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing that separates the introduction, the problem, the impact, and the proposed solutions. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'As a result', and 'Furthermore' are used to connect ideas, although some referencing and transitions can feel slightly mechanical. The progression of thought makes sense, moving naturally from describing the noise issue to detailing its personal consequences and finally offering actionable remedies. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to structure the letter appropriately for this task type, meeting the expectations for a clear, logical presentation of information.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, successfully communicating the main message despite noticeable errors. The student attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'persistent', 'significant', and 'cooperation'. However, there are several lexical and spelling errors that affect precision, including 'apartmengt', 'ate' instead of 'at', 'every weekdays', and 'neighnour'. Phrasing like 'fed up from this' shows an awkward collocation where 'fed up with' would be standard. These inaccuracies do not severely impede communication, but they reflect a limited vocabulary range that requires attention to spelling, word choice, and natural phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating clauses connected by conjunctions and cohesive markers. There are, however, several grammatical and punctuation errors present, such as lowercase 'i' pronouns ('i am working woman'), missing articles ('working woman' should be 'a working woman'), and awkward punctuation and capitalization in the body paragraphs and sign-off. Preposition usage also shows minor slips, such as 'durinng my daytime shift'. While these errors in grammar, punctuation, and capitalization are noticeable, they rarely impede overall communication, allowing the reader to understand the intended meaning clearly.
