dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to inform you my problem regarding noise from your house. Sometimes speaker sound are very loud and people talking with eachother loudly. it is very harsh that I even feel the sound of your steps when you walk.
I am a student and I will have a exam next week. I could not focus on my studies and my routine also disturbed with that. last sunday you had a late night party because of this,I coudnot sleep peacefully.
I just request you that It is your house and you are okay to do anything but with respect to others please do it quietly and please make sure that It will not disturb others. Main thing is that my apartment is on downstairs and it affects me more. Thank you for your understanding. I hope it will not happened again. Otherwise you are a great neighbour and very helpful as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The letter addresses all three required points: you describe loud speakers, conversations and footsteps; explain that the noise disrupts your studying and sleep; and ask your neighbour to keep the noise down. The details about your exam and the late-night party make the impact personal and relevant. However, the proposed solution is not fully specific: “please do it quietly” and “make sure that it will not disturb others” express a general request, but you could suggest practical steps, such as lowering the speaker volume or avoiding parties late at night. The closing praise is courteous, though “I hope it will not happen again” makes the request clearer. Overall, the purpose is clear, but some ideas—especially the solution—could be developed further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information follows a sensible order: you introduce the noise, describe its effects, and then make a request. This gives the letter a coherent overall shape, and phrases such as “because of this” help connect cause and effect. The shift from the noise problem to your exam and sleep is also easy to follow. To make the organisation more polished, separate the situation, its impact and your suggested solution into distinct paragraphs. Some links are awkward or unclear, particularly “my routine also disturbed with that” and “Main thing is that my apartment is on downstairs.” More precise referencing and smoother transitions would make the progression feel less abrupt and show greater control of cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main problem, including “very loud,” “focus on my studies,” “late night party” and “sleep peacefully.” The wording is generally understandable, but the range is limited and several choices or forms sound unnatural, such as “speaker sound,” “harsh” for noise, and “my routine also disturbed.” These expressions make parts of the letter less precise. Aim for natural collocations that describe noise and its effects, such as “loud music,” “disruptive noise” and “disturb my study routine.” Check spelling and word forms too: “eachother” should be “each other,” and “coudnot” should be “could not.” More accurate, varied phrasing would strengthen the letter.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The letter includes simple statements and some attempts to combine ideas, for example, “I am a student and I will have a exam next week.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles and agreement occur in several places. For instance, “I could not focus on my studies and my routine also disturbed with that” needs a complete verb phrase, while “I hope it will not happened again” mixes verb forms. There are also punctuation and capitalisation problems, including the run-on after “because of this” and inconsistent capital letters after sentence breaks. Practise building accurate sentences with “because,” “so” and “which,” and proofread each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
