You let a friend stay at your apartment while you were away on a trip. When you returned home, you discovered that a valuable possession was broken.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

How are you? I hope you are doing well. i am writing to tell you about the laptop i found broken after coming back home. i feel so disappointed as you did not even inform me about the laptop.

This laptop is really precious to me, as this is gifted by my guardians on my last birthday. Besides this, i do all my office work on this laptop. i know accidents can happen, so i am not angry with you.

I really appreciate, If you could let me know what happen and whether you can repair my laptop or cover the cost.. give my regards to your family. hope to hearing from you soon.
