IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You let a friend stay at your apartment while you were away on a trip. When you returned home, you discovered that a valuable possession was broken.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
• describe the broken possession.
• explain why it is important to you.
• explain what you would like your friend to do.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Rahul,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to ask about broken horse statue which was standing in our hall area.

When i returned home i saw that my statue was already broken in two parts than i checked my hall area which was quite fine but that statue has some cracks. It was placed near dinning table in or hall area.

That statue was reall mean to me because it was gifted by my father as my birthday gift. Additionally it is also expensive because it was a hand made statue. I had many memories with my father's gift and i feltreally bad when i watch that broken.

I want you to buy that same staute for me , because its all your falt and its your responsibilty. If you cannot get the same one than please pay some amount of that horse ststue. I will ask my father how much that statue cost.

I hope you understand my pain. Please revert me with the solution as soon as possible.
