You have a problem in your apartment that needs repairs.

Write a letter to the building manager. In your letter

Dear Madam/Sir,

I am writing to complain about a broken window in the apartment where I am currently living. I would appreciate it if you could come to my apartment and check the damage.

To begin with, I would like to explain that I moved in yesterday, and I was shocked when I saw the broken window. What happened that I was just arranging things in their proper places. I felt suffocated, so I tried to open the window; it did not open, which made me irritated.

Furthermore, I would like to ask what you can do for me. Could you send a glazier for me to fix this damage? I will not pay for this because I did not do anything.

Finally, I would like to invite you to come to the apartment and observe the damage, which will give you an idea of the severity of the condition. I would appreciate it if you could visit after 6 pm, as I am always at work between 8 am and 5 pm. Please let me know if any further information is required.
