Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, as you successfully describe the broken water pipe problem, suggest that the manager send a plumber, and ask them to visit your apartment. However, because the length requirement of 150 words was not met—coming in at 126 words—certain points like the description of the consequences are slightly under-developed. To reach a higher level, you should expand more fully on the details of the situation and ensure you meet the minimum word count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is a coherent overall arrangement to your letter, and the purpose of your communication is clear from the opening. However, paragraphing is somewhat fragmented, with several very short paragraphs and single-sentence lines like 'So Kindly come and fix the problem'. Cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or repetitive, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'take an action on this like call them plumber'. Grouping your ideas into logical, well-structured paragraphs with smoother transitions would greatly improve the overall flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'apartment', 'manager', and 'kitchen'. However, there are noticeable issues with word choice, word form, and spelling, including 'water leakge', 'plat', 'aparment', and 'possiable'. While communication is not severely impeded, these errors and a reliance on basic vocabulary limit your score. To improve, you should incorporate a wider variety of less common lexical items with greater precision and pay closer attention to spelling and standard collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple sentence forms with some attempts at complex structures, such as 'we are facing the problem to cooking the food due to this water leakge'. However, there are frequent errors in verb tenses, articles, and prepositions, such as 'i am living... Since last 3 years', 'one of the water pipe broken', and 'for using in cooking'. Punctuation is also erratic, with missing capitalisation and run-on phrasing. Reducing these errors and demonstrating better control over grammatical patterns will help you achieve a higher band.
