Student answer (Band 6.5)
A few families send their childrens to school from very small age. On the other hand some wait till children become mature enough for school. There are some positive and negative effects on childrens. I will discuss this in my essay.
Firstly, from small age like around three or four years who join preschool have seen a quick grasping ability of anything. Since from very beginning of childhood they use to with homework and learning activites it helps them to develope powerful brain. For instance many parents have seen improvement about memory of their individuals. Despite of this, it has some drawback which is bonding with their parents. Due to constant study activities they never get chance to spend quality time with their parents. It has been seen that those started pre school earlier seen to be have less connection with their families.
However, the ones who waited till primary school before joining are more likely happiest and emotional. Because they get more time to enjoy their childhood and spend important moments with family without any pressure of study. They feel the vitical experience which every one should have in their childhood. Talking about drawback of this, those childrens have lesser IQ then others due to not development of brain towards knowdleable things which make them think more. By making more thinking process on mind increase or form IQ in human being. For example many of them struggles in their work duties since it requires higher ability to imagine ideas.
In conclusion, there are some drawbacks and good effects on individual personality. Some can get more thinking ability but not enough time to enjoy things which they have to while others have good time but not good intelligence.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of early preschool attendance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on generalizations. For instance, the claim that children who start school later have 'lesser IQ' is a significant over-generalization that lacks scientific support or nuanced explanation. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly explored to reach a higher band. The essay covers all parts of the prompt, but the depth of analysis is inconsistent, particularly in the second body paragraph.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'However', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Despite of this' (which is also grammatically incorrect). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the relationship between sentences could be smoother. The use of referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'those started pre school earlier seen to be have less connection', where the subject is missing or poorly linked to the previous sentence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'from very small age' (should be 'at a very young age'), 'vitical experience' (likely meant 'vital'), and 'knowdleable things'. The range is somewhat limited, relying on basic descriptors. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that collocations are natural and accurate. Spelling errors like 'develope' and 'knowdleable' also detract from the overall quality.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('those childrens have'), incorrect preposition usage ('Despite of this'), and missing articles or pluralization errors ('from very small age', 'childrens'). While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on basic sentence construction, specifically pluralization and the correct use of prepositions and articles.
