Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some parents prefer to start their child study early at the age of three or four while other parents wait so that they can direct sent the child at primary schools instead of preschools. Now i will be discussing the prons and cons of it in the upcoming paragraphs .
Thrre are plenty of advantages of sending child school at early age one of them is so they can become mature at early age like they can now how to sit they can know rules and regulations they can learn good habits regarding eating food moreover they can tell there tutor yes i want to use washroom they can play and so on. For instance, in Indian we sent child at school at the age between 3 to 4 because so that they can that’s also the part of life to knew something new and grown up with frnds for being well to know the things at this age they can learn more because they start learning from early age so they can understand much better then others.
On the other hand, it has some drawbacks as well like if a child start their schooling at early age then he might miss their parents as they are not spending much time with their parents because after schooling a child need rest and might be they are not able to learn moral values from their parents.
And they will less involved in outdoor activities with their parents because they don’t have enough time after schooling. And their involved early in social activities they don’t understand their culture as well.
To conclude all, it has both advantages and disadvantages but i will say it has more advantages because they can behave well learn more things from outside at early age they their mind become sharp.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool education. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the advantages focus primarily on basic behavioral training, such as 'rules and regulations' and 'eating food,' rather than broader developmental or academic benefits. The disadvantages are also briefly stated, focusing on the loss of parental time. While the position is clear, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. The essay would benefit from more sophisticated reasoning regarding the long-term impact of early schooling on social and cognitive development to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite mechanical and sometimes inaccurate. Phrases like 'To conclude all' and 'On the other hand' are used, but the internal flow within paragraphs is often disjointed. Many sentences are short and lack logical connectors, making the progression of ideas feel somewhat stilted. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'they can that’s also the part of life to knew something new,' where the connection between the ideas is lost due to poor sentence construction.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. Basic terms like 'good habits,' 'learn,' and 'things' are used frequently, which restricts the ability to convey more nuanced ideas. There are also several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'direct sent' instead of 'directly send' and 'prons' instead of 'pros.' While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is not sufficient to demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic collocations and avoiding informal phrasing like 'Now i will be discussing.'
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'child start their schooling'), incorrect verb forms ('to knew something new'), and punctuation errors. Complex structures are attempted but are often faulty, leading to confusion in meaning. For example, the sentence 'For instance, in Indian we sent child at school at the age between 3 to 4 because so that they can that’s also the part of life...' is grammatically incoherent. Improving basic sentence construction and proofreading for tense consistency is essential.
