Nowadays, few parents send their teenagers to preschool when they are three or four years old. other guardians wait until their toddler are old enough for primary school before they send them to school. In this piece of writing I will shed light on some advantages and some disadvantages of it along with my opinion in upcoming paragraphs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 193 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the prompt asks for a discussion of advantages and disadvantages, the essay is largely underdeveloped and lacks specific, relevant examples. The arguments provided are vague and repetitive, focusing on general notions of 'knowledge' rather than addressing the specific developmental or social impacts of preschool. The position is not clearly maintained throughout the text, and the lack of length prevents a full exploration of the topic as required by the task instructions.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The introduction is somewhat disconnected from the body, and the transition between ideas is often abrupt or confusing. Cohesive devices are used in a mechanical and sometimes inaccurate way, such as the misuse of 'However' at the start of a sentence that does not present a contrast. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the writer's train of thought. Overall, the structure is present but lacks the necessary flow to be considered coherent.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. The writer relies on basic phrasing such as 'too much knowledge' and 'growing in their life,' which lacks the precision required for a higher band score. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as using 'teenagers' to refer to three or four-year-olds, and 'acepct' (spelling error). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss the topic with any depth or nuance. To improve, the student needs to focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to child development and education.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'baby have', 'toddler go'), article usage, and sentence structure. The text relies heavily on simple sentences, and attempts at more complex structures are often faulty or punctuated incorrectly. For example, the sentence 'To commence with the abundant reasons that's why, progress in their life' is grammatically incoherent. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with random capitalization and missing commas, which further detracts from the clarity of the writing.
