Student answer (Band 6.0)
Education plays a crucial role in being successful in the life. Some guardians prefer to enroll their kids to nursery schools at their early age. However, others do not send their children until four. There are numerous negative and positive impacts of this trend which will be examined with suitable examples in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, Kindergartens assist them to develop social and emotional skills. Moreover, it reduces the stress of parents to a great extent. For example, it is a duty of caregivers to teach their young ones about basic manners such as how to behave in public places, toilet training and other necessary knowledge, but nowadays all the children learn such activities in their preschools. As a result, parents can relax by sending their little ones to the prenursery.
On the other hand, By sending children to preschools they could not spend their quality time with parents which creates an unwanted gap between their relationships and also they become the victim of anxiety sometimes because of academic pressure. In addition, not all the children feel comfortable to adapt the instructive environment, when they are forcefully sent to kindergartens by their parents, they start to avoid such schooling and could not overcome on their fear for face to face interactions.
Taking everything into account, I believe that every coin has both sides, thus enrolling children in preschools brings more positive results than negative because it has become the first choice of the parents nowadays.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool, maintaining a clear position. However, the essay is slightly under the 250-word minimum, which impacts the depth of development. While the points regarding social skills and parental stress are relevant, the discussion on disadvantages—specifically the 'unwanted gap' and 'anxiety'—is somewhat underdeveloped and lacks specific, illustrative examples. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed explanations or concrete scenarios. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the points discussed. Because the word count requirement was not met, the score is penalized accordingly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'Moreover,' and 'In addition' are used to signal shifts in the argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally imprecise, such as the use of 'them' in the second paragraph without a clear antecedent. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the transition between the advantages and disadvantages could be smoother to improve the overall readability of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'caregivers,' 'instructive environment,' and 'face to face interactions.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'being successful in the life' (should be 'in life') and 'overcome on their fear' (should be 'overcome their fear'). There is also some repetition of basic terms like 'preschools' and 'children.' To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and idiomatic expressions to show greater flexibility and control over your lexical choices.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'at their early age' (should be 'at an early age'), 'it is a duty of caregivers' (should be 'it is the duty'), and 'not all the children feel comfortable to adapt' (should be 'comfortable adapting to'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in sentence construction. The frequency of these errors does not impede communication, but they prevent the essay from reaching a higher band score.
