Student answer (Band 6.5)
In this contemporary world, schooling is an essential part of everyone's life. Some people believe that guardians are enrolling their kids in the school at very early age of three or four, whereas others claim that folks may not send their children in school until they become enough mature.
Hence, this essay will explain both the view along with my opinion which will include appropriate examples and justifications in the forthcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, children who are engaged in schooling at very young age develop social-skills easily. To elaborate, during the school time, kids may have to interact with their peers and teachers on different topics such as learning the new skills, sharing the stationary, playing games together, ask for the help and so on. Thus, these little activities enable them to enhance the empathy level and emotional intelligence. In addition, early schooling allows help to parents who are working and provide them assurance that their kids are getting reliable childcare throughout school hours. Hence, parents can focus on their careers and maintain their financial stability.
On the other hand, loss of family bonding becomes a major reason of early schooling. To explain, owing to having school hours, toddler might not able to spend enough time with their parents and grandparents. Consequently, it becomes the reason for reducing the emotional security and trust. Moreover, children may get the stress and anxiety due to separation since they are attached to their primary caregiver, and unfamiliar environment of the school may leads to anxiety.
In my prospective, children should get some time to explore different games and playing structure around age of three or four instead of participating in school because playing activities enable them to be physically strong and grow smart.
In conclusion, early age schooling helps not only kids to be capable in terms of social skills but also their parents to manage their jobs. Although benefits behind this trend, it gives negatives impacts on family bonding and may leads to pressure and stress. Also, as per my thought, children should get some time to explore various playing station at young age rather than schooling.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of early preschooling. The position is clear throughout, and the ideas are generally well-supported with relevant examples, such as the development of social skills and the impact on family bonding. However, the development of the 'disadvantages' section is slightly less detailed than the 'advantages' section. Additionally, the student introduces a personal opinion in the body paragraph and conclusion that slightly shifts the focus away from the objective discussion requested by the prompt. To reach a higher band, ensure the discussion remains balanced and focused on the prompt's requirements throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'To elaborate,' and 'In conclusion' are used effectively to guide the reader. However, there are some instances where the flow is slightly mechanical or awkward, such as the transition in the second paragraph: 'early schooling allows help to parents'. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the progression of ideas is generally clear, though some sentences could be linked more fluidly to improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary world,' 'emotional intelligence,' and 'financial stability.' There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'folks may not send their children in school' instead of 'to school,' and 'playing station' instead of 'play areas.' While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey meaning clearly, it lacks the sophistication and precision required for a higher band. Expanding the range of academic collocations and refining word choices would improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('in the school' instead of 'to school'), verb forms ('toddler might not able to' instead of 'toddlers might not be able to'), and subject-verb agreement ('unfamiliar environment... may leads to' instead of 'may lead to'). These errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede communication. To improve, the student should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring consistent control over complex sentence structures.
