Student answer (Band 5.5)

Parenthood is extremely tough task to handle children development specially in early childhood. For infants brought up most parents choose preschool and day care in early ages while others are more selective for their children's progress. In this essay, I am going to shed some light on both merits or demerits of above notion.

To begin with, there are myriad of positive facts about sending toddlers in pre-learning centers such as children learn social interaction, natural core, sitting plans, pre-school engagement activities vice-versa. In China, it can be seen that minors are very smart, intelligent, active and fully nurtured as country focuses majorly on the growth of the youngsters from early ages. Moreover, in preliminary educare center toddlers learns sharing, good bonding and positive behavior which helps to improve their characteristics or build positive relation with others.

On the other hand, there are plethora of negative impacts too. Firstly, every kid not build with a same quality some children's have special needs such gifted child, autistic, ADHD suffering with many other disabilities in such situation expecting same growth of young one's in unexpected. Secondly, in this fast pace era with a both working parents child sometime unable to get parents attention and care or becomes stubborn its hard to handle for pre nurturing educators with other students.

To put in a nutshell, I reckon that every coins has two sides. For the betterment of young ones progress its better to send in early ages learning centers for fast learning.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool, but the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The word count is 249, which is just below the 250-word requirement, resulting in a penalty. While you mention social interaction and skill development as advantages, and special needs or parental attention as disadvantages, the arguments lack depth and specific supporting evidence. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the points discussed. To improve, ensure each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of the 'why' and 'how' behind your points, and ensure you meet the minimum word count to avoid unnecessary penalties.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand' to signal transitions. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For example, the phrase 'vice-versa' is used incorrectly in the first body paragraph. Additionally, some sentences feel disconnected, making the progression of ideas feel slightly disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve your score in this area.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and non-standard collocations. Phrases like 'natural core', 'pre-learning centers', and 'pre-nurturing educators' are not standard English and hinder clarity. You attempt to use some academic vocabulary, such as 'myriad' and 'plethora', which is a positive step, but these are sometimes used in contexts that feel slightly unnatural. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations—words that naturally go together—and avoid inventing compound nouns that do not exist in standard English usage.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('every kid not build', 'toddlers learns'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary prepositions, such as 'every coins has two sides' (should be 'every coin has two sides'). While you attempt some complex structures, they often contain errors that can cause the reader to pause. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that plurals are used correctly. Proofreading for these common errors will significantly improve your accuracy.
