Student answer (Band 6.0)
In modern era, although guardians prefer to send their juveniles to preschool when they were are four or three years old, other parents wait until their children are old enough for the primary school. The former notion has number of positive and negative effects which cannot be overlooked.
To begin with, it is very profitable for children to join preschool in their early age because while learn in those institutes kids aware and learn about the numbers and words which help them make their primary school education easy. Moreover, by spending a lot of time in preschool or outside young ones become independence in number of tasks and also get a skill of teamwork by cooperating with other children.
On the other hand there are also some consequences of stated trend. Like, if parents send their kids to preschool in their young age, they get a academic pressure on their mind since many centres mostly focus on academic tasks rather than any physical activity. Furthermore, family plays a crucial role in the development of young children as parents help their borns to learn about the good manners, discipline and many other basic skills, but by spend all day in preschool kids do not get a time to spend with their family and that will also put bad impact on the relationship of parents and their kids in future.
In conclusion, although by sending juveniles into preschool they get a number of advantages which become helpful in their future, it also became a reason of bad relation between parents and their borns and even also effect the mental health of the the children by lot of pressure in their early age.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool as required by the prompt. The position is clear throughout, and the main ideas—such as academic preparation and social skills versus academic pressure and family bonding—are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'academic pressure' is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples or deeper analysis. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your arguments with more detailed explanations or concrete examples to ensure the response is fully developed rather than just outlined.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand' are used to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'Like, if parents send their kids...'. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall progression could be smoother with more varied linking words and better sentence-to-sentence connectivity.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several instances of unnatural word choices, such as 'juveniles' (which is typically used in legal contexts rather than for young children), 'borns' (which is not standard English for children/offspring), and 'profitable' (which is usually used for financial gain rather than developmental benefit). While the meaning is clear, the range is limited, and the misuse of certain terms hinders the sophistication of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Examples include 'when they were are four or three years old', 'kids aware and learn', 'they get a academic pressure', and 'by spend all day'. These errors in verb tense, article usage, and prepositional phrases are noticeable. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the high frequency of errors prevents the response from reaching a higher band.
