Student answer (Band 6.0)
An education is an important part of life. Some parents believe that their wards need an education in their early stage of life. Hence, they started their kid's pre-schooling in beginning of their life. However, another group of guardians believe to wait until their children are capable to go to school. There are both merits and demerits for the situation. Both of them are discussed in the following paragraphs.
There are plenty of benefits to commence children's education in their earlier life. The biggest advantage is children started learning new things and get familiarized with the outer world. It is inevitable to experience the surrounding world. For instance, children gets to know how to maintain discipline and respect others. Furthermore, it also help to boost their brain activities. This is to say that nursery teaches the basics of languages and gives exposure to other children of similar age. It has been said that children have a good grasping power and easily catch a new things quickly. Therefore, sending children to preschool is an acceptable solution.
However, on the another side, there are few demerits too. The foremost disadvantage is that children have a pressure to pursue education at an earlier age. To elaborate this, up to 25 years, children send their life to complete their education. Therefore, they starts feeling burden to secure the education at the beginning of their life. Moreover, Parents have to spend time and teach their wards about the basic principle of life. Prior to start pre-schooling, parents should have to educate their wards from home.
To conclude the discussion, it can be said that there are both advantages and disadvantages for this situation. I believe an education is important in teenager's life. Therefore, sending children to preschool is more favorable than waiting to get old enough.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument as requested. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the point about 'brain activities' is mentioned but not fully explained or supported with specific evidence. The conclusion is clear, but the argument regarding the 'pressure' of education is slightly confusing, as the link between preschool and a 25-year education span is not logically connected. To reach a higher band, you should provide more concrete examples or deeper analysis for each point raised.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'However', and 'To conclude', which help the flow. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'on the another side'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'Both of them are discussed', where it is not immediately obvious what 'them' refers to. The progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You use some repetitive phrasing, such as 'education' and 'children'. There are also some minor word-choice errors, such as 'commence children's education' (which sounds slightly formal/stilted in this context) and 'get familiarized with the outer world'. While the meaning is always clear, the range of vocabulary is limited to common words, and there is little attempt to use less common or more sophisticated lexical items to demonstrate a wider range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have several subject-verb agreement errors, such as 'children started learning' (should be 'start') and 'they starts feeling'. There are also issues with articles and prepositions, such as 'in beginning of their life' and 'on the another side'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical consistency, particularly with verb tenses and pluralization.
