Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as it is only 149 words long and remains incomplete. Because the essay is unfinished, the task is not fully addressed. While you introduce the topic and mention some advantages, the disadvantages section is cut off mid-sentence ('Week rela'), preventing any meaningful development of ideas. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full, balanced discussion of both sides and include a concluding summary. The current lack of completion significantly impacts your ability to demonstrate a clear position or provide sufficient supporting evidence for your arguments.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand' and 'First and foremost', which helps with the overall structure. However, the progression of ideas is severely limited by the incomplete nature of the text. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph is non-existent due to the abrupt ending. To reach a higher band, you need to ensure that each paragraph is fully developed with clear topic sentences and that your ideas flow logically from one to the next, culminating in a coherent conclusion that synthesizes your points.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is generally functional but limited in range. You use some relevant terms like 'cooperation', 'coordination', and 'leadership', which are appropriate for the topic. However, there are several errors in word choice and phrasing, such as 'behind it why parents prefer' and 'before start the school'. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and avoid repetitive phrasing. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic or topic-specific terms will help you convey your ideas with greater clarity and sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include 'there some merits of send their kids' (missing 'are' and incorrect verb form) and 'at early age they started' (missing articles). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with missing commas after introductory phrases. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, the correct use of articles, and ensuring that your sentence structures are grammatically sound. Practicing complex sentences will help you demonstrate better control over your writing.
