Task-2

Education is a key to success in life. However, in some cases, many parents like to enroll their children to preschool for to built their base for higher school, whereas, others want to become their child more older to go to primary school. This trend have some positive as well as negative impacts on the children that I have been discussed in the upcoming writing.

On the positive side, one major advantage of sending their children to preschool is making them more independent and creative because it allow them to learn some basic alphabets and creative things that are helpful in primary school. For example, a child will develop their interest in learning when they get to know about the usual things with their alphabets. Secondly, a child become more independent when they spent a few hours away from the family in a child care centre among the children.

On the negative sides, there are some disadvantages of sending their children to a preschool at an early age as they feel home sickness, whether they are not getting fully attention from the teachers. To eximplify, it is evident that if the child is not get proper care from the teacher, they will get frustrated and felt alone. Thus, it gives huge impact on their mental health. Another disadvantage is the depression and a rise of jealously factor among the children, because when they are getting compared with another students to compete the target.

In my opinion, every thing has pros and cons, so, sending their children to a preschool at an early age is best decision to built a stronger base of the child to learn some new ideas and things to use it in further studies at the primary school. Therefore, parents make their children more stronger and compatible by sending them school at smaller age.

In the conclusion, in order to develop the interest in studies, parents start their's children school at an early age and it will give stronger impact on their school life. However, in some cases, it turns out negative as it impact on their mental health by giving them depression and home-sickness.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool as required by the prompt. The position is clear throughout, and the ideas are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the point about 'jealousy' and 'competition' is introduced but not fully explained or linked back to the broader context of early childhood development. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed examples and ensure that each point is fully explored rather than just stated. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main points, but the overall development remains somewhat superficial.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the positive side', 'Secondly', and 'In the conclusion' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear. For instance, the phrase 'that I have been discussed' is grammatically awkward and disrupts the flow. Additionally, some transitions between ideas feel abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and sophistication. You rely on basic terms like 'good', 'bad', and 'things', which limits the impact of your arguments. There are also several word-choice errors, such as 'to built their base' (should be 'to build'), 'become their child more older' (should be 'wait until their child is older'), and 'compete the target' (should be 'compete for targets'). To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more academic vocabulary related to education and child development, while paying closer attention to word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('This trend have', 'a child become'), incorrect verb forms ('I have been discussed', 'if the child is not get'), and misuse of articles or prepositions. While the meaning is generally understandable, these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and pluralization, and practice constructing more complex sentences with fewer errors.
