Student answer (Band 6.0)
In Contemporary epoch, there has been a noticeable trend of sending children of three to four years old to preschools. Although this shift comes with the merits of early exposure to schooling and strengthen the cognitive skills, I contend that drawback of the same in form of extreme pressure and lag behind of parental love and affection decisively outweighs its merits.
A significant downside of enrolling students at very early age in schools is that children at age of three or fours are small and with fresh mindsets, they need care and affection of parents instead of study pressure. Tiny minds are easily adaptive yet they are also more likely to buried under the burden of school works and formalities that carries out at school places. Consequently, this practice can sometime hampers the later on life in schools. A Pertinent example can be seen in Indian schools where many kinder gardens schools observed number of concern from parents about children's rebellious nature and distressed nature.
Despite this, lack of parental love and affection is another compelling repercussions of this topic. The reason is that many parents leave their babies to preschool in the morning, where they left for number of hours without parents. Parents de-attachment with them turn children to think deeply, thereby, getting sense of unloved is risen among kids at very early age.
Besides above mentioned points, preschools no doubt offers advantage of exposure to schools before entering to real ones. This is because, in many preschools children are provided with all the necessary instructions like sitting, eating etiquettes and how to behave in front of others. This results in making children more attentive and responsible. Also, some learners have the ability to learn quickly, thus, it enable them to enhance the cognitive skills at very early years of their life. However, this hinder the most of the childish acts among many students.
To conclude, while advantage of enrolling students to preschools at very early age provides parents with the sense of accomplishment and joy, it also bring many drawbacks from the child's viewpoint like loosing their childish moments and sometime miss their parents love and care which might not be possible while in kinder gardens at some extent.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool education. You clearly state your position in the introduction, which is maintained throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While you provide reasons for the disadvantages, such as the potential for 'rebellious nature' and 'distressed nature', the supporting examples are slightly vague. The discussion of advantages is also a bit brief compared to the disadvantages. To improve, ensure that each point is fully extended with more specific, logical explanations rather than just stating the impact. Overall, the task is addressed, but the depth of analysis could be more consistent to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Consequently', 'Despite this', and 'To conclude' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'Besides above mentioned points' or 'This is because, in many preschools children are provided with...'. Additionally, some transitions between sentences feel abrupt, and the logical flow within paragraphs could be smoother. Improving the variety and precision of your linking words will help the progression of your argument feel more natural and sophisticated.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items like 'cognitive skills', 'accomplishment', and 'rebellious'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors that hinder precision, such as 'Contemporary epoch' (instead of 'In the contemporary era'), 'lag behind of parental love', 'kinder gardens schools', and 'de-attachment'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they indicate a need for more careful attention to how words are used in context. Expanding your vocabulary through reading and focusing on collocations will help improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('preschools no doubt offers', 'it also bring'), incorrect article usage ('the merits of early exposure to schooling and strengthen the cognitive skills'), and awkward phrasing ('this hinder the most of the childish acts'). While these errors are noticeable, they rarely impede communication. To move to a higher band, you should focus on proofreading for basic errors in verb tense, pluralization, and sentence construction, and aim for more error-free complex sentences.
