Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's generation with the technologies and advanced studies, few parents thinks it's a good idea to send kids to the preschool where as other prefer to wait until their children gets old enough for primary school. I will going to be discussing pros and cons of sending to preschool below.
There are few good advantage of sending to preschool at the age of three or four years old. The first thing is they get to learn the language in very young age as well they learn manners which is most important thing and can help one for the life time. They can adopt things really quickly at very young age, their minds can be more active and teachers are very helpful to teach a lot of things that a kid should know rather than staying at home and just playing. For instance, a recent studies from United Kingdom's University says that a brain of children is more active than adults, so if they get schooling at right time they get a good amount of knowledge.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages where children get a bit of pressure because everything just new for them. Also, the advanced technology which school is using to teach students that affects their eyes. Such as, majority of the school uses projectors to show them videos is not that good for their health. Basically, it affects their eyes from the very early age.
In conclusion, I would say enrolling children to preschool at young age will be beneficial for their life than having to wait them to get old enough.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of preschool education. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the point about 'manners' is mentioned but not expanded upon, and the argument regarding technology and eye health is a bit simplistic. While the position is clear, the supporting evidence, such as the reference to a 'recent study from United Kingdom's University', lacks specific detail and feels somewhat generic. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced explanations and concrete examples that clearly link the advantages and disadvantages to the child's long-term development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs for pros and cons, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The first thing is', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help the reader follow the argument. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical or repetitive. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'sending to preschool' where the object is missing. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence of the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'preschool', 'primary school', and 'enrolling'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'few parents thinks' (should be 'think') and 'in very young age' (should be 'at a very young age'). The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on common words rather than more sophisticated or precise alternatives. To improve, try to incorporate more varied collocations and academic vocabulary related to child development and education.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You have several grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('parents thinks', 'children gets') and article usage ('a recent studies', 'the preschool'). Additionally, there are awkward phrasings like 'I will going to be discussing' and 'wait them to get old enough'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall fluency of the text. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
