Student answer (Band 6.0)
As you know people are more conscious about their children especially nowadays due to technology. With the passage of time, when technology become a more beneficial and also dangerous for the people and children as well. Parents send their children to preschool when they are three are four years old and other parents wait until their children are old enough for primary school before they send them to school.
If we talk about the advantage to send the children in school is more common.
Many researches shows that children are more learn in their youngest age as compare the oldest age. Children become socialize and learn from the peer groups. They are involve group activities and learn ethics from the teachers or instructors. If a child attend a school in his youngest age, he/ she becomes a good learner and speaker. They can learn from family, school, peer groups and from social media.
On the other hand, there are many disadvantages to send children in their early age. First of all, they feel burden and get stress from that. Nowadays, schools putting a lot of burden of books and activities on the children. Parents should take attention on their children at home and according to my opinion parents should home schooling of the children.
They can control their social media usage at home. If I talk about my own child, I sent him in his early age because of my job. But I feel that my child become anxious about the studies. At that stage of age, children remains calm and cool not get too much stressed.
So according to my opinion, people send their children to school at the age of 5 not before. They should prefer home schooling.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both advantages and disadvantages of preschool. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention socialization and learning as advantages, the explanation is brief. The disadvantages section focuses heavily on the 'burden' of schoolwork, which is a valid point, but the essay lacks depth in exploring the long-term developmental impacts. The position is clear, but the argument could be strengthened by providing more specific examples or nuanced reasoning rather than relying on personal anecdotes. To improve, ensure each point is fully extended with clear supporting evidence.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive. Phrases like 'If we talk about' and 'On the other hand' are used, but the transition between sentences within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt. For instance, the jump from discussing technology to preschool in the introduction is disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows logically from the previous one would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good', 'learn', and 'burden'. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'take attention on their children' (should be 'pay attention to') and 'home schooling of the children' (should be 'homeschool their children'). To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to education and child development, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'when technology become a more beneficial' (subject-verb agreement), 'children are more learn' (incorrect passive/active usage), and 'at that stage of age' (awkward phrasing). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in sentence construction. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, correct verb tense usage, and refining complex sentence structures to ensure they are error-free.
