Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is observed that some parents want to start montessory as soon as their children reach to early stages of their lives. While on the other hand, some parents prefer to send them in the primary school directly instead of preschool. This essay presents the pros and cons of sending young ones to preshool.
Now-a-days, lifestyle has changed enough that both parents have to do job to earn reasonable money. At this time, they prefer to admit their kids in montessory where the young ones have the chance to meet with their fellows. This is the best time for them to grow along individuals of the same age under a strict supervision. Infact, the preschools are well-structured with technological advancements. The facilitators help the kids to learn different skills which are essential for their mental, physical and social development. There are multiple activities are organised in which the children tend to learn different capabilities of teamwork, time-management, self-confidence and descion-making that are significant in their personal development. Once these little shining scholars go to primary school, they have already built achievements as compared to those who just join the primary school.
The biggest challange that is faced by majority of parents is unsecurity. As childhood harrassment is common now and parents do not feel secure to send their kids at an early age. This can cause decline in self-confdence of children and bad memory resulting in mental stress. According to some parents, home is the best place for a child of three years to live independtly, where he has no boundary . He is free to play or whatever he wants to day. This is significant for them to grow and learn the skill themselves.
In the end, I conclude with the notion that both pre and primary school level admissions for kids have their own advantages. The matter is to provide a feasible and secured environment to kids where they can engage themselves in activities to learn personal development skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the advantages and disadvantages of sending young children to preschool. Your position is clear throughout the essay, and you present relevant supporting ideas such as social development, teamwork, and concerns regarding security and stress. However, some ideas could be extended further; for example, the point about a child having 'no boundary' at home could be linked more explicitly to creativity or independence. You use examples from general knowledge effectively. Overall, the task is addressed well, aligning closely with the Band 6.5 to 7.0 descriptors. Because some points lack complete elaboration and remain somewhat general, a Band 6.5 is appropriate.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure with an introduction, body paragraphs addressing pros and cons separately, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct themes. Cohesive devices are present, such as 'While on the other hand,' 'At this time,' and 'Infact.' However, some transitional phrases feel slightly mechanical or are used incorrectly, such as 'In the end, I conclude with the notion that' instead of more standard academic transitions. Referencing is generally clear, though occasional awkward phrasing creates slight bumps in the logical flow. This places your coherence and cohesion comfortably at a Band 6.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, using terms such as 'facilitators,' 'teamwork,' 'time-management,' and 'facilitators.' However, there are multiple spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, such as 'montessory' (montessori), 'harrassment' (harassment), 'unsecurity' (insecurity), 'self-confdence' (self-confidence), and 'independtly' (independently). Additionally, phrases like 'do job to earn reasonable money' sound unnatural. While you attempt less common lexical items, these frequent spelling and collocation errors restrict your score. This performance fits the Band 6 descriptor where vocabulary is adequate for the task but marred by noticeable inaccuracies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating relative clauses and conditional-style reasoning (e.g., 'Once these little shining scholars go to primary school, they have already built achievements...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward structures, such as 'reach to early stages' (reach the early stages), 'send them in the primary school' (send them to primary school), 'There are multiple activities are organised' (double verb structure error), and 'whatever he wants to day' (do). Punctuation and article usage also need careful revision. These errors occasionally cause mild hesitation for the reader, aligning with the Band 6 descriptor.
