Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few people believe that preschools are good for young ones between age of three or four year, but other feel that parents should wait for certain age for primary schools. I consider that this notion has both pros and cons that I will discuss in forthcoming paragraphs.
To commence the advantages of sending children to preschool in early age is that it hepls them to develop social skills in their early age like communication with other students and teachers. To explain this, in that age children become more independent and try to do their small tasks by themselves, which is good for their physical as well as mental development, and also they learn how to behave to other individuals. According to the report of "The Tribune Newspaper" in Canada 55% parents believe that preschool education in younger age good for their off spring's social skills and overall development. Thus, there are numerous merits of putting children to preschool when they are three or four years old.
On the other hand, the first and foremost disadvantage is that sometimes children feel more stressed when they are away from their parents in that age. To eleborate this, in that young age children need more attention from their family members rather than from a teacher. Therefore, they become introvert unable to share their feelings with anyone. Also if preschools give more attention to academics than other recreational activites, it put negative impact on their overall development and they will feel burden of books from those days. According to "World Health Orgination", there are 40% children in India, who faces depression and unable to share their thoughts to others because they did not get enough time to spend with their mother and other family members.
To conclude this, although there are spme drawbacks for sending children to preschool in their young age, we cannot neglect the benefits of early education such as good social skills, confidence and sharp mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view that early preschool has benefits despite some drawbacks. The advantages paragraph explains social development, independence and learning to interact, while the disadvantages paragraph discusses separation from parents and excessive academic pressure. These are relevant points, and the examples about children’s wellbeing help support them. However, some claims are asserted rather than fully explained: for instance, the link between limited family time and depression needs careful qualification and clearer support. The conclusion also mainly repeats the benefits instead of weighing them against the disadvantages. Develop the comparison more evenly and explain when preschool may be suitable for different children.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for advantages, one for disadvantages, and a conclusion. The progression from social benefits to possible emotional and academic costs is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” make the contrast clear. However, some linking is mechanical, particularly “To commence,” “To explain this,” and “To conclude this.” Within paragraphs, several ideas are joined into long sentences, so the relationship between them is not always precise. For example, the sentence beginning “Also if preschools…” combines a condition, a consequence and a further prediction. Use fewer formulaic transitions, make links between claims explicit, and separate distinct points to improve flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “social skills,” “independent,” “mental development,” “stressed,” and “recreational activities.” These choices generally make your meaning clear, and you attempt more formal expressions such as “overall development.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable: “in early age,” “off spring’s,” “eleborate,” “spme,” and “World Health Orgination” weaken precision. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “feel burden of books” and “share their thoughts to others.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding formal-sounding phrases. Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your vocabulary more effective and consistent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “which,” “because” and “although,” and the main ideas remain understandable. Some sentences are controlled, such as “To conclude this, although there are…,” though the structure could be more direct. There are also some errors in articles, agreement, verb forms and sentence construction. For example, “55% parents believe” needs an article or determiner, “it put negative impact” has an agreement and article problem, and “40% children…who faces” has errors in both the noun phrase and verb agreement. The opening sentence also has unclear grammatical relationships. Review articles and subject–verb agreement, and break longer sentences into clearer units while retaining varied structures.
