Student answer (Band 5.5)
Early chilhood education has become very popular these days. Some parents are considering it a better option for their children. Whereas, others are totally opposing with this concept. However, I personally think it is a good option to to send kids to the preschool.
Certain parents argue that children's are too young to start the school at the age of three or four. They are more comfortable with their parents rather that spending time with some strangers. Also, kids are too small to understand and communicate any in problems happening to them.
However, sending kids to preschools have more advantages specifically for their mental well-being. Teachers in the schools are professionaly trained and know better how to teach them, by playing with the similar age group of kids, they learn more easily and interestingly. Moreover, engaging in different types of activities are highly beneficialy for their overall development. For instance, after starting the preschool at three, my daughter starts communicating more fluently with us and enjoy playing with other kids.
Secondly, these days most of the parents are working and therefore these types of schools are a great relief for them. Many schools are offering after school programs where kids can stay at school for longer hours. Furhermore, the some schools are providing meals, which is more relaxing. Infact kids starts learning a proper routine. They can enjoy their time by doing various things like playing outdoors, sharings things with others. Also, the schools are well euipped with cameras therefore, the security of kids are always on prirority.
In conclusion, some parents are against of sending their children's to preschool, but if totally argue that the advantges outweight the disadvantages. It's best for the kids overall development.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and make your position clear: you acknowledge concerns about young children being away from parents, then argue that preschool’s benefits outweigh its drawbacks. Relevant support includes your daughter’s improved communication and the practical help preschool offers working parents. However, the disadvantages receive less development than the advantages, and the concern that children may struggle to communicate problems is introduced but not explained or illustrated. Some benefits, such as security cameras and meals, are listed rather than connected clearly to children’s development or the central comparison. To strengthen the response, explain the effects of each main point and give the opposing view comparable detail before reaching your conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on concerns, two paragraphs presenting benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “However,” “Moreover,” and “Secondly” help readers follow the argument. The progression is generally understandable, but some linking is mechanical, and the relationship between ideas is occasionally unclear. For example, “Teachers… are professionaly trained and know better how to teach them, by playing…” joins two points awkwardly, while “Furhermore, the some schools…” interrupts the flow. The conclusion also repeats the position without drawing together the main comparison. Use clearer sentence boundaries and refer back to the specific advantages and disadvantages, rather than relying mainly on additive transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss preschool and child development, including “mental well-being,” “overall development,” “after school programs,” and “security.” These choices make the main ideas clear, and there is some attempt to use topic-specific language. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word combinations are noticeable, as in “chilhood,” “professional y,” “beneficialy,” and “outweight.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, including “opposing with this concept,” “more relaxing,” and “enjoy their time by doing various things.” Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; more precise wording would make the argument sound more controlled. For instance, describe parents as “opposed to” preschool and explain that childcare provision “eases pressure on working parents.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “Whereas” and a reason clause beginning “therefore.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “children’s are,” “sending kids to preschools have,” “my daughter starts… and enjoy,” and “the security of kids are.” The sentence beginning “Teachers in the schools…” also combines clauses in a way that makes the structure difficult to follow. Work on matching subjects and verbs, using possessives and plurals accurately, and separating complete ideas with appropriate punctuation. Greater control of these patterns would make your varied sentences clearer.
