Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both advantages and disadvantages, mentioning possible gains in learning and development as well as stress and reduced playtime. However, the discussion is brief and the ideas are only minimally explained: for example, “become intelligent and focused” is asserted without showing how preschool produces these outcomes, and the claim that preschools are “money making business with no purpose” is not supported. Your conclusion also gives a mixed recommendation rather than a clear, consistent position. The response is 202 words, below the required 250, so it does not provide enough development to cover the task fully. To strengthen the response, explain each main point with a reason or relevant example and state clearly when early preschool is beneficial or harmful.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some links between ideas are unclear. For instance, the opening sentence fragment beginning “Because to excel…” does not connect grammatically to the preceding statement, while “Adding to it” introduces a claim without explaining its relationship to the previous point. The conclusion’s “which rather helps” also has an unclear reference. Develop one idea at a time and use clear links between claim, explanation, and example; this would make the organisation more consistently coherent.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “personality development,” “study pressure,” “playful environment,” and “primary schools.” These choices show an attempt to discuss education and children’s wellbeing. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling errors or inaccurate word forms make the writing less clear, as in “curricullar,” “negetive,” “kindergarden,” and “developent.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “children are admisioned” and “money making business with no purpose.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “early learning,” “social development,” and “academic pressure” would help express your ideas clearly without relying on repeated general words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt a few longer structures, including “The earlier the children are… the more…” and sentences beginning “As a result” and “Furthermore.” However, the range is limited, and frequent errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Because to excel in curricullar activities while other parents wait…” is an incomplete sentence, and “Enrollment in such schools help toddlers” has a subject–verb agreement error. “Brain at young age are frail” also has problems with articles and agreement. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check singular/plural agreement and sentence boundaries. Accurate simple sentences should come before adding more complex clauses.
