Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, parents are sending their children to preschool which it becoming popular when they are three or four years old. While some parents think it is a beneficial way to develop skills at early age, other parents think that they should wait until their children get old enough for primary school.
To begin with, children who goes to preschool can develop skills at early age. In preschool teachers try to engage them in different activities which is difficult for the children to adopt new environment. In preschool children does not only learn crucial skills but also develop team work and communication with other children. This allows them exposure to school environment at early age. For example, children who goes to preschool they follow discipline in order to wake up early and get ready for school which prepare them for primary school so they do have any difficulty at that time. In addition to this sending children to preschool is also beneficial for parents as they can go to their work without any concerns and concentrate on thier career. Therefore, preschool is an essential part for children to gain knowledge and develop skills which helps them for primary school.
However, there are some disadvantages of sending children to preschool. Some children are connected to their family and parents and by sending them to preschool they feel lonely. In such ealry age children cannot understand all things which is taught in preschool therefore some parents decide that they should get old enough to understand what is happening surrounded them. Although preschool fees are very expensive, not every parents can afford it and they feel financial pressure. For instance, kids who goes to preschool they feel pressure to achieve higher scores as a part of their examination, however in this age they should enjoy their childhood with their loved ones. Hence, parents should send their children to school when they get old enough as they caan understand well and it is worth spending money.
In conclusion, early-childhood institution allow children to develop an important practical skills and follow schedule at early age which helps them for primary school rather than their disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the question and give a clear overall view: preschool can build skills and help working parents, while waiting may protect children from separation and financial pressure. The examples about following a routine and feeling pressure over examinations make the discussion relevant. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that preschool children face pressure to achieve higher scores is not clearly connected to typical preschool experience, and the conclusion mainly repeats the benefits without weighing them against the disadvantages. Develop the reasons behind each point and make the final judgement more balanced to cover the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for advantages and disadvantages, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “However,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow, and the main ideas are generally grouped appropriately. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some of the stronger control associated with more flexible cohesion. At times, though, links feel mechanical, and some references are unclear—for example, “which is difficult for the children to adopt new environment” does not clearly show what is difficult. Improve the connections between claims and examples, and use pronouns and transitions more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss the topic, including relevant terms such as “communication,” “financial pressure,” “discipline,” and “primary school.” There are also attempts at less common phrasing, such as “concentrate on their career” and “early-childhood institution.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive: “develop skills at early age,” “get old enough,” and “feel lonely” do not always express the intended ideas precisely. Spelling errors such as “thier,” “ealry,” and “caan” also reduce control. Build a more accurate range of natural phrases for education and child development, and proofread spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including contrast clauses beginning “While” and “Although,” and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “children who goes,” “children does not,” and “which it becoming popular”; these should be corrected to forms such as “children who go,” “children do not,” and “which is becoming popular.” Some longer sentences are difficult to follow, particularly the sentence beginning “In preschool teachers try to engage them.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build complex sentences around one clear main clause.
