Student answer (Band 5.0)
The merit and demerit of sending children to preschool at the joung age can have a significant benefit to children. infact, looking at children that started school when the are very joung can have good impact on them, the start very early to learn the school environment and love to go school, they have passion to explore the learning session and acquire knowledge very fast.
A good number of those who started schooling at the joung a from three years do things very fast, but in reading and spelling words, but those who delayed before going to school at old age find it had to understand things thought in the school by thier teachers fast, that is a problem of coping with other children in the class with them.
Another advantage of sending your children to early is that the get to be smart and wise in the social of reasoning and can develop skills on their own that's why parents prefer sending their word to at early stage than delaying them learning.
For instance in the part of parents raising their kids to a high standards require spending much money on them starting from when the entered school to graduation, the send more than those that just began that the middle age when the have grown well.
But I can not forget that there are some levels of maturity the have attend especially those that can from a good home, while some that dont have the opportunity to learn at home may not have.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You discuss benefits of early preschool, including becoming familiar with school, learning quickly, and developing social or reasoning skills. However, the task asks for both advantages and disadvantages, and the disadvantages are not clearly explained: the final sentence mentions maturity and differences in home learning, but the point is difficult to interpret and is not developed. Your examples about children coping with lessons and parents spending money do not consistently support a clear argument. To strengthen the response, state your position clearly, explain at least one genuine drawback—such as separation anxiety or pressure on children who are not ready—and develop each point with a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some paragraphing, and the response moves from general benefits to examples and then attempts to introduce a contrasting point. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several ideas are placed together without clear links. For example, the paragraph about children learning quickly shifts to coping with classmates, while the later point about parents spending money does not clearly connect to the advantages or disadvantages of preschool. Linking phrases such as “Another advantage” and “But” provide basic signposting, but relationships between ideas are often unclear. Organise the essay into a clear introduction, separate advantage and disadvantage paragraphs, and a conclusion; use linking expressions to show how each example supports its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary, including “school environment,” “acquire knowledge,” “maturity,” and “develop skills,” which helps communicate the general topic. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “the social of reasoning,” “send your word,” and “levels of maturity the have attend.” Spelling errors, including “joung,” “thier,” and “dont,” are also noticeable and can distract the reader. Aim to use more precise, natural phrases for early education and child development, and check spelling carefully. Replacing unclear expressions with straightforward wording will make your ideas easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “looking at children that started school when the are very joung can have good impact” has problems with the clause structure and articles, while “they get to be smart and wise … and can develop skills” shifts awkwardly between structures. Subject–verb agreement and verb forms are also unreliable, as in “the start very early” and “the have grown well.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly where several ideas run together. Practise building accurate sentences around one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when their structure is secure.
