Student answer (Band 5.5)

Childrens are really important for their families. Every parent want their enfant should have better future. However, some people belive that it is okay to send their babies to preschool at the age of 3-4 year while others want to wait 2 more years. There are some pros and cons of that i will discuss in upcoming paragraphs.

There are some advantages of admitting the children at preschool at the age of three or four year old. First and foremost, If the minors are going schools at their early age, they would be more active and creative. For instance, in childcare the teachers are indulging their students into different types of games such as painting, making block towers etc. Furthermore, they can learn some moral values like- discipline, team work, and learn how to help each other.Hence, this will leads in result of better upcoming generation.

On the flip side of the coin, there are some drawbacks of that as well. Sometimes offsprings start feeling stressed when they go to education centre. It happens because they are shy to talk to other children and dont share what they are feeling. It also leads to showing lack of interest to going school. Moreover, Some gaurdians believes that sending them to preschools also effect on their health and diet because some babies only like to eat with their mom so they dont eat enough at school. Thus, it reults in weekness to their body.

To Sum up,according to me, although it is vital to send yougers early to preschool because of its positive effects but it has some negative points as well. So it should be completely depends on their parents.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides of the question by describing possible benefits, such as creativity and learning teamwork, and drawbacks, including stress and eating difficulties. The examples about painting and building block towers help make the benefits more concrete. However, several points are asserted rather than explained: for example, the link between preschool and a “better upcoming generation” is broad, and the health concern would be stronger with a clearer explanation or example. Your final view—that the decision should depend on parents—is present, but it is not fully reasoned and sits somewhat uneasily beside your claim that early preschool is vital. Develop each main point and make your position more consistent.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on advantages, one on disadvantages, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “First and foremost,” “Furthermore,” and “On the flip side of the coin” make the direction of the discussion easy to follow. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some of the stronger progression associated with the next level. However, links between individual claims are sometimes mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “Moreover,” “Thus,” and “Hence.” The conclusion also introduces a position that is not fully reconciled with the earlier discussion. Use clearer references between ideas and make the final paragraph follow directly from the position established in the introduction.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to discuss the topic and attempt some less common expressions, including “moral values,” “discipline,” and “lack of interest.” However, noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems reduce precision. For example, “minors” and “offsprings” sound unnatural when referring to children in this context, while “effect on their health” does not express the intended idea accurately. There are also misspellings such as “belive,” “gaurdians,” and “reults.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the main points, but they make the writing less fluent and sometimes require interpretation. Prefer familiar, accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “If the minors are going schools … they would be more active” and a contrast in the conclusion. However, complex attempts are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. Examples include “Every parent want,” “this will leads,” and “Some gaurdians believes,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Other problems include “should be completely depends” and “shy to talk to other children and dont share,” which need more accurate verb forms and sentence construction. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “To Sum up,according to me.” Practise agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence.
