Student answer (Band 5.0)
Although make the products more costly which cointains sugar may make people to take less suagr but it will hamper the life of a normal public and then companies who manufacture sugry items and the farmer who produceses sugar will bear the losses.
To begin with, there are several reasons to not support this statements. It will impact the life of normal publics. To explain in details, by increasing price on sugry product the people who dont make their food and lunch who use to depents on these items in their break time on jobs they will have to pay more money and their will be a some pressure on them about money or physical to make food. Similarly, Companies will bear a massive loss. Elaborating on it, the businesses who only manufacture sugry item theri sales will get down and the public will not prefer the product on more price and they will bear loss and condition may go whorsh to close company and the employes theri will be also job less.
Likewise, the suagr farmer will get impacts. if the price os sugary items will increase public will not chose that and the company will stop the production and farmer will not get any place to sell theri sugar and theri will finincila condition will impact and life to. For instance, specialy the life of farmer relay on the farming and they survive life by selling theri farming if they dont get the market how will they survive .
To conclude, making sugry products expensive may look have benifits but the hamper they will create is too more expensive may be in public life or the farmers of suagr and companies who manufacture sugry items.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you disagree with making sugary products more expensive, and you give reasons involving consumers, businesses, and sugar farmers. These points are relevant to the question, but the response only partly develops the issue. For example, the claim that higher prices would harm people who rely on purchased food is not clearly connected to why they would consume less sugar, and the effects on companies and farmers are asserted rather than supported with specific explanation or evidence. The essay also gives little consideration to the health problems named in the prompt or to the possible benefit of reducing sugar consumption. To strengthen the response, explain your reasons more fully and address the opposing argument before concluding.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an opening position, a body discussing consumers, companies and farmers, and a conclusion. Paragraphing and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Similarly,” and “Likewise” help readers identify the sequence of points. However, progression within the body is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear links. For instance, the discussion moves from people buying food at work to pressure to cook, then to company closures, without fully explaining each connection. Repeated transitions also make the organisation feel mechanical, while unclear references such as “they” and “that” sometimes leave the reader unsure which group or product is meant. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each claim to its consequence explicitly.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “manufacture,” “sales,” “production,” “farmer,” and “bear the losses.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “sugry products/items,” “public,” and “bear.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “cointains,” “suagr,” “whorsh,” and “finincila”—make the text harder to read. Some word combinations are also unclear or unnatural, including “the hamper they will create is too more expensive” and “survive life by selling their farming.” Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. For example, describe the likely effects as “financial hardship” or “reduced demand,” rather than relying on repeated general terms such as “impact” and “loss.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “although,” “if,” and “who,” but complex sentences are often difficult to control. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout. For example, “Although make the products more costly … may make people to take less” needs a correctly formed clause and verb pattern, while “the companies will stop the production” does not clearly establish the condition being described. In “the people … they will have to pay,” the sentence also has an unclear structure. These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly linked subordinate clause, then check subject–verb agreement and verb patterns.
