Student answer (Band 5.5)
Most of the eating products consist of high amount of sugar which is a serious threat for health. The high price of sugary food items help individuals to use less sugar products. We will discuss the aspects in the essay regarding agree or disagree.
A food is most impotant for human being to surive on Earth. A development in the quality of food product is changing greatly day by day. Like, cold drinks and some kind of other foods contain high amount of sugar in the composition. No doubt, sugar makes a food more sweet and delicious also. However there is a serious health issue linked with it's use.
Firstly, I totally agree that sugar products are more dangerous for life. Now a days, mostly products are rich in sugar including food and drinks. However, this elevation is going to more harmfull for our life. Like, people who use high level of sugar products can alter their Blood Pressure. Actually, this is a warning sign of disorders. Sugar items can also lead to a searious health problems like diabetes, hupertension and fatty disorders.
Secondly, on the perspective about their uses a high price is most best idea to encourge people not to use it. A cost effective methos can change the trends of their use. This can not only effect on financial but also have a good impact on their health. World Heath Organization (WHO) should also start campaign to aware people about their health problems by use of sugary products.
In my opinion, all the food items should be high rated to reduce their uses. It can also ensure health safety.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention health risks like diabetes and hypertension, the explanation of how price increases specifically influence consumer behavior is underdeveloped. The introduction is a bit repetitive, and the conclusion is very brief. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation or a concrete example to support your claims. The current arguments are relevant but lack the depth required for a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences can be disjointed. For example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph is abrupt. To improve, try to use a wider range of linking words and ensure that referencing (e.g., 'this', 'these') is used more precisely to connect ideas across sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety expected at higher levels. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'eating products' instead of 'food products' and 'high rated' instead of 'highly taxed' or 'expensive'. You also have some spelling errors, such as 'impotant', 'surive', 'methos', and 'hupertension'. While your meaning is clear, the limited range of vocabulary and the recurring errors in word formation and spelling restrict your score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'high price... help individuals'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'this elevation is going to more harmfull'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of errors in basic grammar structures occasionally causes the reader to pause. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb forms.
