IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

In today's time, various king of eatable products having sugar are launching every day which leads to different serious medical problem after consuming. I am fully agreed that items containing high amount of sugar ought to be more costly to encourage individuals to intake minimum sugar and it will be more described in upcoming paragraphs.

At the outset, there are numerous factor to make sugar based item more expensive and the first and foremost is hard to purchase. To explain it more, children are main consumer of these kind of products and after increasing the price they will face difficulty to purchase which will stop them to buy. For example, if cold drinks will cost more than healthy juice then young ones will prefer juice.
