Student answer (Band 5.5)
In modern society, process food consuming have a reason of many dieases. A lot of junk food and drink contain high levels of sugar, which is the main reason of many health issues. Sugary products should be made more expensive to ensure people to consume less sugar. I strongly agree belive this.
To begin with, in today society specially young peoples consume junk food and drinks. The main reason is advertising, many junk food compaines adevertising their product on social media and encourage the people to consume them. Sometime, they put sales on them or set some deals and make them cheap. Everyone can affoarde them. For example, KFC offer buy 1 get 1 free and if you purchace a zinger burger and nugets, we give you free 1 litter Cocola bottle. When the adults see these offers cheap and we get a cook food. Then they frequently consume them.
Futhermore, to save young genteration from many dangures health problems like high blood pressure, diabates, high chlostrol government should increase high taxes on these foods and also encouarge the young gentration through advertising and put some projects in their education about healthy life. Additionly, reduce the tax on healthy item like meat, egges , fish, salads then everyone afforarde. Also encourage the young people to join Gym, and set the gym free for people. For instance, South Korea government have public Gyms make free for mens and womens everyone easily access them and introduce many low calerios and sugar free drinks for people.
In conclude, people and governmwnt should take steps

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that sugary products should cost more, and you give relevant reasons about promotions making unhealthy food accessible and taxes discouraging consumption. You also suggest complementary measures, such as education and cheaper healthy foods. However, the central argument about higher prices is not developed consistently: the first body paragraph focuses mainly on advertising and deals, while the second shifts to several broader health policies. The South Korea example concerns free gyms and low-sugar drinks rather than the effect of price increases, so its support for the main claim is limited. Develop one or two reasons more fully and connect each example directly to higher prices and reduced sugar consumption.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding sentence, and signposts such as “To begin with” and “Furthermore” make the broad stages easy to identify. The ideas within the paragraphs, however, do not always progress clearly. The first paragraph moves from advertising to discounts, then to a specific fast-food offer and adults’ choices without clearly explaining how higher prices would change this behaviour. The second combines taxation, education, healthy-food prices and gyms, making the main line of argument difficult to follow. The conclusion is incomplete and does not restate your position. Group related points, use clearer links between claims and examples, and finish with a complete summary.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “high levels of sugar,” “health problems,” “high taxes,” and “healthy life,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to cause some difficulty, as in “dieases,” “affoarde,” “dangures,” and “calerios.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “process food consuming” and “a cook food.” Repeated use of “young generation,” “people,” and “food” limits the range. Build accuracy with common topic collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “processed foods,” “affordable,” and “a cooked meal” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause in “which is the main reason of many health issues” and a conditional example beginning “When the adults see these offers.” However, sentence structure and verb forms are often inaccurate, and these errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “process food consuming have a reason,” “young peoples consume,” and “government have public Gyms make free.” There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, such as the comma splice after “advertising.” Practise building complete subject–verb sentences, checking singular and plural agreement, and using clauses and punctuation accurately. More reliable control of these patterns would make your argument easier to understand.
