Student answer (Band 5.5)
Several processed foods and drinks made up of solid amount of sugar which result in various health related issues. The price of such products must be raised in order to urge people to use less sugar. Therefore, I agree with this term based on some factors as it will stop people to spend their income to such unuseful things as well as also bring a positive impact in their bodies if they don't consume it for a long time for being expensive, so they will tend to pruchase the cheap and healthy food.
Apparently, majority of people spend a lot of money on manufactured food and sugary drinks like coke, pepsi and other local soft drinks, which contain large volume of sugars in them. These liquids have been found very harmful for human bones and stomach, causing pain in joints even at a young age. However, A huge increment in these prices will allow consumers to think twice before purchaising that stuff.
Another fact to be highlighted is that, the non-affordibility of such items will also cause users to pruchase the affordable food and drinks that includes furits, meat and fresh juices. These things will bring positive changes in their bodies due to the benifits of consuming them. For example, I also purchase apples and peach juice whenever I have some cravings because of my limited budget as well as i am aware that these are benificial for me.
From the overall perspective, the increment in the amounts of such produts should be high to ensure people tend to avoid these products and this wasthey will be saved to spend their money on health food instead of these health hazords
and will be able to make fresh foods as their meal.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that sugary products should cost more, and you give relevant reasons about discouraging purchases and encouraging healthier choices. The examples of soft drinks and choosing apples or peach juice help connect the argument to everyday behaviour. However, the health effects are asserted rather than explained: the claim that these drinks harm bones and cause joint pain needs clearer support or a more directly relevant explanation. The point about people switching to affordable alternatives is also not fully developed, since higher prices do not necessarily ensure that healthier food is available or chosen. To strengthen the response, explain the likely effects of a price increase and develop each reason with a specific, credible example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a final paragraph restates your position. This gives the reader an overall route through the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the long opening sentence, which combines several claims about spending, health and food choices. Linking phrases such as “Another fact to be highlighted” and “From the overall perspective” feel formulaic, while “However” does not clearly signal a contrast with the preceding point. Some references, including “these things” and “that stuff,” are imprecise. Use shorter, more focused sentences and connect each example explicitly to the reason it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “manufactured,” “consumers,” “affordable,” and “cravings,” and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “things,” “products,” and “positive changes,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate. For example, “solid amount of sugar” and “large volume of sugars” are not natural ways to describe sugar content; “substantial amounts of sugar” would be clearer. Spelling errors such as “purchaising,” “benifits,” and “hazords” also make the writing less controlled. Build a more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and common word partnerships before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “soft drinks … which contain large volume of sugars” and a reason clause beginning “because of my limited budget.” However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, especially the opening sentence, where several ideas are joined without a clear grammatical structure. There are also errors in articles, agreement and sentence construction, as in “majority of people spend” and “food and drinks that includes.” The final sentence is incomplete in its punctuation and structure, with “and will be able to make fresh foods” left without a clear subject. Practise building one main clause at a time, then add subordinate clauses and check that each sentence has a clear subject and verb.
