Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modern era, people not focusing on health and excersies instend of do gym or yoga and walking. Nowadays, many manufactured food and drink products contain high level of sugar, which causes highest impact on health problems. This is serious matter to solve it for better healthyer life style. I totaly agree with this view that sugar products should be made more expensive or mention with big label of ingridiants to encourage people to consume less sugar.
From my perspective, people faced many health disease problem due to eating junk food, sugar item and not good quality food. In addition, many company shares advertaising with actor and fool the people to say the natural fruit juice. However, people must be check ingredients before buying foods and drinks.
Some company mention as label fresh food or juice but in the ingredients have use artifical colour and sugar which become less cost for company. Company use attractive label and colour in product so many customer reliants to buying products.
As a result, people becoming very fatty and face some disease at teenager age.
However, if government gives notice to all company which have to use artifical colour and sugar those product have highest tax on MRP. Thus, price automatically increase by company and people are avoid to consume sugar products. Somewhere really fresh juice and food are sell on affordable price but many company sell high sugar product as a label of fresh juice or item.
In concusion, The new law will introduced by government which have high taxes on sugar products such as, cold drinks and food. So company automatically increase price of all product or improve their product with real fresh juice or food. Therefor, customer consume less sugar and have good health life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that sugary products should cost more, and you also suggest prominent ingredient labels. You address health effects, company marketing and government taxation, so the response remains relevant to the question. The explanation that higher taxes could raise prices and discourage consumption is a suitable central reason. However, some points are less fully developed than others: the discussion of misleading juice labels and artificial ingredients is not clearly connected to the specific proposal to make sugary products more expensive, and the claim that people become overweight or ill as teenagers needs an example or explanation. Develop one or two reasons in more depth and clarify how each supports your position. The response meets the stated length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. Ideas generally move from health concerns to company practices and then to government action, and linking expressions such as “In addition,” “As a result” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the discussion shifts from advertising to ingredient labels and then to customer behaviour without clearly showing the links between them. Some transitions, including “However” and “Somewhere,” do not express the relationship between the ideas accurately. Use clearer topic sentences, group related points together, and make references such as “those product” explicit. This would make the organisation more coherent and reduce the sense of ideas being joined mechanically.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “ingredients,” “artificial colour,” “tax,” “consume” and “health problems,” and you attempt phrases such as “attractive label” and “affordable price.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, for example “highest impact on health problems,” “customer reliants to buying products” and “good health life.” Spelling errors such as “excersies,” “advertaising” and “concusion” are also noticeable. These issues sometimes make the reader work to understand your intended meaning. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; for instance, use “health risks,” “customers rely on” and “a healthier lifestyle.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if government gives notice … those product have highest tax” and a result clause beginning “Thus.” This shows an effort to express cause and effect. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles and plurals sometimes make the message difficult to follow. For example, “people not focusing on health” lacks a finite verb, while “people are avoid to consume” has an incorrect verb pattern. “Some company mention” also needs plural agreement or a singular subject. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb patterns. More accurate complex sentences would strengthen the response.
