Nowadays, the increasing demand of sugary food and drink items has been increased dramatically, which directly affects to the consumer which causes several health diseases. However, many believe that price of sugary products should be more expensive for control the sugar consumption among the peoples. I strongly agree with this suggestion by increasing price of the sugar goods.

While, the government should implement this rules on sugary items to control obesity among the teen and also privates companies have to take necessary precaution to tackle this huge problem. Moreover, in many nations such as USA or Canada the consumption of sugar is one of the highest construction among them and due to this trend the increasing number of health problem also increase. For instance, individuals also have to know about negative effect of the consumption of the sugar and i believe that companies have to use less sugar in their food items and instead of sugar they have to use natural sweeteners.

However, there are many alternative of the sugar the people can have. There are many companies who serve foods and drink with natural sweeteners, which can't affect to the people health. In addition, by increasing the price of the products also encourage humans to not consume too much sugar. Also, ministry has to impose the strict rules regard to the sugary product production. For example, the government also have to add higher taxes on sugary product that encourage people not to spend too much money on sugary foods and drink items.

In conclusion, the increasing number of sugary items consumption in recent time is increased rapidly, which increase several serious health problem from teen. Furthermore, to tackle this problem government can impose higher good taxes on sweet items as well as the companies can slow the product of the sweet products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you strongly agree that sugary products should cost more, and you give relevant reasons, including discouraging consumption through higher prices and reducing obesity. You also suggest that companies use natural sweeteners and that governments impose taxes, so the response addresses the main question and offers more than one measure. However, some points are asserted rather than explained. For example, the reference to high sugar consumption in the USA and Canada does not show how price increases would improve health, and the claim about teenagers is not supported with a specific explanation or example. Develop each main reason by explaining the likely effect and linking it directly to your position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally relate to the topic. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. The first body paragraph moves from government rules to private companies, national consumption, health problems and individual awareness without clearly showing how these points connect. Linking words such as “Moreover,” “For instance,” and “However” are used, but some do not express the relationship between the ideas clearly; “However” at the start of the second body paragraph, for example, introduces another supporting point rather than a contrast. Group related ideas together and use clearer topic sentences and references to make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “consumption,” “natural sweeteners,” “higher taxes,” and “health problem,” which helps communicate your main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “impose the strict rules.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, and some phrases make the meaning unclear. “Increasing demand … has been increased” is awkward and repeats the same idea, while “highest construction” appears to be an incorrect choice for describing sugar consumption. Repeated use of “sugary products,” “sugar,” and “increase” also limits variety. Build accuracy by learning common collocations such as “sugar consumption,” “raise prices,” and “pose health risks,” and check that each chosen word conveys your intended meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “which” and “that,” and the overall argument can usually be understood. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or unclear. For example, “has been increased dramatically” uses an unsuitable passive form, and “the increasing number of health problem also increase” has problems with number and verb agreement. In “by increasing the price … encourage humans,” the subject of the verb is unclear. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and correctly matched verb, and check articles and plural forms. Shorter, accurately controlled sentences would improve clarity while you develop more complex structures.
