Student answer (Band 5.5)
Unlike the past, the people were not suffering from the health issues due to their healthy lifestyle. At present, major number of humans relies on junk food which contain significant level of sugar in it. Considering both positive and negative sides, I argue that consumption of food products with high amount of sugar content will cause serious illness.
Numerous food companies were using different types of subtense such as sugar, iodin, food colour etc. However, the excess consumption of this food and drink product cause serious health issues. As example the food and drink products having more sugar will be the reason for future diabetes, cholesterol problems. To avoid these problems always eat the food with natural sugar content.
As all people eating fast food only for good taste, which led the major issues outlined in above paragraph. To control this situation, some people suggest that all sugary products should be manufactured at high cost which results to minimize the intake of sugar. As instance, if people found more expensive that product than they will ignore and move towards the other one. However, the manufacturer will never increase the price of food because sugar is a subtense which will be used in 80% of product. Hence, this all product was sold at cheap cost. Moreover, all people have to increase the consumption of natural organic product which contains all real subtense that helps to increase people's health and reduced illness.
In the conclusion, I disagree that the sugary product selling at high cost that will not help to minimize the consumption, we have to encourage people to move towards organic product by showing them serious cause of health issues by taking of high levels sugary products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear view in the conclusion: you disagree that making sugary products more expensive will reduce consumption, and you suggest education and organic alternatives instead. You also identify relevant health concerns, including diabetes and cholesterol problems. However, the response only partially develops the central question. Much of the first body paragraph explains the harms of sugar, rather than evaluating whether higher prices would change people’s behaviour. The claim that manufacturers will not raise prices because sugar is used in many products is also unclear and unsupported. To strengthen the response, explain why price increases would or would not affect consumers, and support that reasoning with a specific example or comparison.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its broad structure. Some linking expressions, such as “However,” “Hence” and “In the conclusion,” signal relationships between ideas. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow: the discussion moves from health effects to natural sugar, then to pricing and manufacturers without clearly connecting each point to your position. References such as “this situation,” “this all product” and “the issues outlined in above paragraph” are not always clear. Build each body paragraph around one main point, explain it in sequence, and use more precise references and transitions rather than relying on formulaic connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “consumption,” “health issues,” “diabetes,” “manufactured” and “organic product,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the argument hard to understand. For example, “subtense” appears to mean an ingredient or substance, while “iodin” and “real subtense” are unclear in context. Phrases such as “major number of humans,” “at cheap cost” and “serious cause of health issues” are also unnatural. Aim for precise, familiar academic expressions and check spelling and collocations; this will make your ideas clearer without requiring unnecessarily complex vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “which” and “because.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in tense, agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “the people were not suffering,” “products … contain,” “this food and drink product cause,” and the fragment-like construction “As all people eating fast food only for good taste.” The conclusion also has an unclear structure: “I disagree that the sugary product selling at high cost that will not help…” Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular/plural agreement and verb tense before adding subordinate clauses.
