Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people argue that excesive sugar containing products like food and baverages need to be regulated with prolifrate the price of sugar to motivate people to ragulate intake of sugar, it cause health problems in person. I personally believes that sugar content in any product need to be regulated, it causes many silent deaseas which peaople are not aware of it.
One of the main reasons for regulate the content of sugar in consumable which we cosume on the daily basis, It can effect human body function like increase the bloodsuger level which can later on became a diabites, along with this it also effect hormones which are essential for functioning of human body fuction and it also controls the nurones of the brain. For instance, there is certain studies are done on the sugar. It states that if a person eats excessive sugar than it body is not able to heal whenever any injuries happens. In addition, it also made person addictate of it.
On the contrary there is a certain cusines which is traditional like rice milk pudding. it was made with higher sugar but still it is rich in nutrition and contains all the amino acids. So, ocatinally people can eat that type of food. It will not affect there health. There is less posiblities that tradition food can be alter but we can able to change there consumption frequency.
In conclusion, I believes that there is some food which may fullfill the all the nutrient requrement of the human but we can not ignore that harm the society. Sugar contain in product should be regulated it is crucial for betterment of society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You state a position in the introduction and conclusion: sugar in products should be regulated, and your discussion of health effects is relevant to the question. However, the task asks specifically whether sugary products should be made more expensive, while your response shifts mainly to regulating sugar content. The link between higher prices and reduced consumption is not explained, so the central proposal is only partially addressed. The health points about blood sugar, diabetes and addiction are relevant, but they are asserted rather than clearly explained or supported. The traditional pudding example introduces a qualification, yet its nutritional value does not show why raising prices is or is not effective. Develop a direct argument about pricing and support it with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas are generally grouped by topic. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph lists several health effects, while the next begins “On the contrary” but does not clearly oppose the argument about higher prices. Connections between ideas are sometimes unclear, particularly in the long sentence about hormones and brain function. Linking phrases such as “In addition” and “For instance” are used, but they do not always make the relationship between claims precise. The conclusion repeats the general position without resolving the discussion of traditional foods. Use topic sentences that directly address the pricing proposal, and make each paragraph develop one clear point in a logical sequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to health and nutrition, including “blood sugar level,” “amino acids,” “nutrition” and “consumption frequency.” However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “excesive,” “baverages,” “deaseas” and “addictate.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “prolifrate the price of sugar” does not clearly express making sugary products more expensive, and “controls the nurones” is unclear in context. Repetition of “sugar,” “product” and “regulate” further limits flexibility. Build accuracy with common collocations and check spelling, while choosing terms that express the task precisely, such as “increase the price of sugary products” and “reduce sugar consumption.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “which,” “if” and “whenever.” However, complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of frequent problems with agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries. For example, “I personally believes” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, and “it also effect hormones” lacks the correct verb form. In “there is certain studies are done,” the sentence structure is faulty, while “if a person eats excessive sugar than it body is not able to heal” contains several grammatical problems that obscure the meaning. Some sentences also join multiple claims without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate short sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled subordinate clauses.
