Student answer (Band 6.0)
Now a days people have different opinions about the animals .Some people believe should protect the animals and few others believe consumption of animals to get enough protein for the body.
On one Hand people describe animals as nature helpful creatures they are like humans we cannot kill because of our selfishness to get meat from them. For example a cow can produce milk which is essential for people around world need a caffeine when the day starts. Especially even farmers are getting helped when harvesting any field crops in land that would destroy by insects is protected by animals eating them.
On the other hand some believes from the animals we get large amount of protein which body requires for the muscle recovery. People believe there are varies in animals for instance one day they can eat chicken and the other day pork , beef so on. It has lot of options trying different kind of meats and the protein intake varies based on the meat they eat .For instance Bodybuilders who participate in the body building competition mostly eat raw meat which is needed for them to recovery their muscle after the weight training.
In my opinion, both as pros and cons eating meat is not cruel but also people can get protein in different forms like now-a-days we seen lot of vegan protein powders people can consume enough protein for the day. On the other way animals can easily predict the environment changes. Having a animal pet at home when you're alone can enjoy there company also they can acts as stress relief for humans.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument regarding meat consumption. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument about cows producing milk for caffeine is tangential and does not directly support the ethical debate on animal cruelty. Similarly, the mention of bodybuilders eating raw meat is a weak example that lacks logical connection to the core issue of animal welfare. While a position is stated in the conclusion, the arguments throughout the body paragraphs are not fully extended or consistently focused on the prompt's central theme of cruelty versus human consumption needs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes mechanical, such as the repetitive use of 'For instance' and 'For example'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between farmers, insects, and animal consumption is confusing. While the essay is readable, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the somewhat abrupt transitions between ideas prevent it from reaching a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'nature helpful creatures' instead of 'naturally helpful' or 'beneficial to nature'. The student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'protein intake' and 'muscle recovery', but these are often surrounded by repetitive or simplistic language. Spelling errors, such as 'varies' used as a noun instead of 'varieties', and grammatical slips in word formation, indicate a limited control over lexical items.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are frequently marred by grammatical errors, such as 'Some people believe should protect' (missing subject) and 'they can acts as stress relief' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect spacing around punctuation marks. The frequency of these errors is noticeable and occasionally causes the reader to pause, though the overall meaning remains understandable. To improve, the student needs to focus on sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles.
