Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the nutritional benefits of meat and the environmental concerns. However, the position is somewhat contradictory; you argue that meat is 'healthy and needed' but then conclude that you 'partially agree' that people should never eat it. This lack of a clear, consistent stance makes the argument feel disjointed. While you provide some examples, such as the protein needs of 'gen z' and the situation in India, the development is limited by the lack of depth in your reasoning. To improve, ensure your position is clearly stated in the introduction and maintained consistently throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the transition 'anyhow killed animal is effecting to environment' is awkward and does not effectively link the ideas. Referencing is also inconsistent; the use of 'this' often lacks a clear antecedent, making some sentences difficult to follow. The progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive, particularly in the second paragraph regarding protein and muscle building. Using a wider variety of linking words like 'consequently', 'furthermore', or 'nevertheless' would improve the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'eat', 'meat', and 'people' throughout the text. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'non-veg' (which is informal), 'real productive', and 'help full'. Additionally, there are frequent spelling errors, such as 'Nowdays', 'yougster', 'maximam', and 'compnay'. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary and use it with greater precision, while also focusing on accurate spelling and more formal academic phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('people consumed', 'animal are going to kill'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'there is so many meat products available easily also easy to cook.' The use of complex structures is attempted but often results in errors, such as 'some of the parts of animal they throw it outside'. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
