Student answer (Band 5.0)
In order to fulfill your hunger, Eating Animals and produce them is a crime. I completely agree with this thinking. I believe raising animal is bad practice because it affects the overall health of human beings as well it has huge impact of farming of grains. I will discuss further about it in next paragraphs.
Firstly, I think doing a business of animal farming is beneficial as per income but at the same point it cause harmfull effects to our human bodies. Including, bad cholestrol and kind of illnesses. Additionally, this can also lead to heavy medications or permament damage to our body parts as some animals have dangerous virouses in their body. Also there is a natural food chain going on among the predators so this practice might disturb the process and other living beings. Every soul has equal right to live on planet, and raising animals for our cravings is brutal.
Second, production of various meat directly affects the amount of sells of healthy grains, of course this can easily provide more protein in comparison of grains. From years, farmers have been farming various harvest of grains in order to provide enough source of food across the world, and people are replacing them by producing animal meats. So basically this is a huge loss for farmers and vendors as well. For example, in a servey of india meat sell is slightly 10 percent higher then grains.
Overall, I believe producing meat and use that as a source of protein is a equall to a crime. As it leads health problems and decrease profits to the farmers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response presents a clear position throughout, agreeing strongly with the statement that eating meat is cruel and unnecessary. The writer attempts to address the prompt by discussing health implications and the impact on grain farming. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on sweeping statements or under-developed arguments. For instance, the point regarding the food chain and the economic impact on grain farmers is introduced but lacks sufficient elaboration or robust examples. The example provided regarding a survey in India ('meat sell is slightly 10 percent higher then grains') is vague and inaccurate in its economic premise. Consequently, the ideas are presented rather simplistically, placing this response securely in the Band 5 to 6 range. It addresses all parts of the task in a basic manner, resulting in a Band 5.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, including an introduction and conclusion, which provides a basic structural framework. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and unclear referencing. Phrases like 'I will discuss further about it in next paragraphs' and 'Second, production of various meat...' are mechanical and intrusive. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is weak. For example, the second body paragraph abruptly shifts from human health to the natural food chain and animal rights without a smooth transitional bridge. Furthermore, pronoun referencing is occasionally confusing, such as 'use that as a source of protein'. While there is an overall attempt at organisation, the execution suffers from mechanical cohesive devices and occasional confusion, fitting the Band 5 descriptor well.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and basic, with frequent vocabulary errors and inappropriate word choices that occasionally cause strain for the reader. Examples include 'produce them is a crime' instead of 'producing meat', 'harmfull effects' (spelling error), 'bad cholestrol', and 'cravings' used in a context that sounds unnatural. The writer also confuses basic terms, such as 'sells' instead of 'sales', and 'servey' instead of 'survey'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the core argument—such as 'protein', 'farmers', and 'health problems'—the persistent errors in spelling, word formation, and collocation restrict the score to Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and flawed attempts at complex clauses. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('raising animal is bad practice', 'meat sell is slightly...'), incorrect prepositions ('impact of farming', 'in a servey of india'), and tense or particle confusion ('use that as a source... is a equall to a crime'). Punctuation is also problematic, marked by run-on structures and unnecessary commas ('as well it has huge impact'). These frequent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader and demonstrate a lack of control over complex sentence forms, aligning with the Band 5 descriptors.
