Student answer (Band 6.0)

It is said that eating of meat should not be allowed because it is cruel to raise the animals for fulfulling the need of meat. I am disgree with the statement for some extent that raising animals for personal fulfilment is not ideal. This essay will delve into the reasons in the upcoming paragraphs.

On the one hand, there are some reasons that reflect that raising animals for meeting the need of meat is negative development. First and foremost, Animals are live-beings like as human and nobody has right to kill them for their own purposes. Individuals should feel their pain that giving our for someone's food is cruelty. Apart from this, the unnecessary killing of animals leads to detremental effects on ecological system because could be a result of extinction of some specious of animal.

On the other hand, although killing someone for our purpose is not good decision but comsumption of meat for human body is very essential to balance the nutrientional needs. Meat is the vital source of protein and iron, which are the significant need of human health. Cutting from meals lead to protein deficency in human body. Besides this meat plays an important role in some cultures. For example the chicken is one the essential item in muslim religion parties. They use them to make different recipies like Nihari, Biryani, and Kababs. Putting a complete ban on meat will leaves adverse effects on some culture and society.

In conclusion, It is quite apparent from the above-mentioned information that raising animals for human consumption is cruel for some reasons but eliminating meat from daily meals is also not positive development due to lack of nutritions and important role in mcomplete meals

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the question and make your position clear: you disagree with a complete prohibition, while acknowledging that raising animals for food can be cruel. The points about animal suffering, ecological effects, nutrition, and cultural practices are relevant. However, some ideas are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that killing animals could cause species extinction needs a clearer link to meat production, and the nutritional argument would be stronger if it recognised that protein and iron can also come from non-meat foods. The example of meat at Muslim celebrations illustrates cultural importance, but it does not fully establish why people should never be required to avoid meat. Develop these points with more precise reasoning and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs signposted by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. Ideas generally progress in a sensible order, and linking expressions such as “First and foremost” and “Besides this” help guide the reader. This organisation is effective, though some connections feel mechanical, and the relationship between claims is not always clear. For example, the ecological consequence is introduced without explaining how animal farming leads to extinction. The conclusion also repeats the opposing points rather than bringing them together into a precise final position. Use clearer references between sentences and make each paragraph’s reasoning build step by step.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “ecological system,” “protein,” “iron,” “complete ban,” and “adverse effects,” and you attempt more formal expressions such as “detrimental effects.” This gives you enough language to discuss both animal welfare and human needs. However, inaccurate word forms, spelling, and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “fulfulling,” “disgree,” “specious,” “nutrientional,” and “mcomplete” are examples. Phrases such as “live-beings,” “Cutting from meals,” and “important role in some cultures” could also be expressed more precisely. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations as complete phrases, rather than translating them word by word.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “although” and a relative clause in “which are the significant need of human health.” The main ideas are usually understandable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. Examples include “I am disgree with the statement,” “because could be a result,” and “Putting a complete ban on meat will leaves,” where verb forms or sentence structure are faulty. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and plurals, as in “the chicken is one the essential item.” The conclusion’s final phrase is incomplete, which weakens the ending. Practise building accurate clauses first, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms in longer sentences.
