Student answer (Band 4.0)

I beleive in both the situation, that physical education classes are an important part of child's education as well as that it is more important to focus on academics during school time. Both situation are agathokakological as they completely depends on student ability of catching knowledge during school time.

If student is brave and smart and if he can catch up things during school time while teacher explian all the students together than he dos'nt provide any physcial education classes, rather that child should give time for his own activities. if student is not able to catch during his class than the child should provide a physical education classes as it is good for one on one teacher and student tutoring as in academics classes teacher's are teaching 60 or 100 of students together so it is hard to focus on each child and help them to improve, so it is easy for teacher to focus on one child at a time and that child focus well on his studies as the child get a personal teacher who can check all his mistake, clear all the doubt about any topic, and help him to improve strategy for learning things.

So people should first understand the children behaviour and his capability of studies then they should take action as per there child or it is completely foccinausinihilipilification for a child who is clever and smart to give him any physical education classes and it is just a waste of time for him to be there and spend more time in studies rather than other activities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You attempt to discuss both physical education and academic study, and you give a view that the right choice depends on a child’s ability. However, the response does not clearly explain the two views in the question: it shifts to whether a child needs extra one-to-one tutoring, which is not the same as physical education. The claim that physical education is suitable for students who struggle academically is also unsupported and confusing. Your position is therefore difficult to follow, and the ideas are only minimally developed. The response is 243 words, so it is 7 words below the 250-word minimum; the 21 words copied from the prompt are not counted. To improve, address the value of exercise and the case for prioritising academic lessons, then support your opinion with relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic overall shape: an opening statement, a longer paragraph giving reasons, and a concluding recommendation. Linking expressions such as “as well as,” “if,” and “so” show attempts to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because the discussion moves from physical education to private tutoring and then to a child’s study ability without explaining the links. The second sentence also introduces “both situation” without clearly identifying the two positions. Long, crowded sentences make relationships between points unclear, and the final paragraph repeats the idea that children differ rather than drawing together a balanced discussion. Use separate paragraphs for each view and a conclusion, with clear topic sentences and references to the actual question.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to education, including “physical education classes,” “academics,” “teacher,” and “learning.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make the meaning unclear. “Agathokakological” and “foccinausinihilipilification” are not appropriate or meaningful in this context, while “catch up things” and “clear all the doubt” are unnatural expressions. There are also spelling errors such as “beleive,” “explian,” and “physcial,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, familiar academic vocabulary rather than unusual words, and check spelling and word forms. For example, describe students as “understanding lessons” or “keeping up with the class,” and refer to “individual support” rather than confusing it with physical education.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, particularly with conditional clauses such as “If student is brave and smart…” and explanations joined by “as” and “so.” This shows some range, and the main message can often be understood. However, errors recur in sentence structure and grammatical forms. For example, “Both situation are” needs a plural noun and matching verb, while “it completely depends” does not agree with the plural subject. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent in phrases such as “a physical education classes” and “60 or 100 of students.” Several sentences run on, making clause boundaries hard to identify. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence punctuation, and divide long explanations into shorter, complete sentences.
