Student answer (Band 5.5)
there is on going debate regarding physical education are an important part of childern education or not . there are divided opinions. A group of individuals have argued that, physical education is important ; however, other are counter claimed that, childerns should be more focused on academics during school time.Prior to my stance , both viewpoints would be discussed in the upcomming paragraphs with valid reasons and appropriate examples.
Discussing the former view, supporters believe that, physical education plays a crucial role in promoting holistic development and maintaining student well-being.Regular physical activities can sharpen the mind of child and also it will help them to focus on their studies. In life there where many stages comes that child has to take strong decisions and mentally stable in every situations so with the help of physical activites this can be improved.
however, proponent have their own opinion.to begin with, they argue that academic subjects are more important because they provide with essential knowledge and skills for their future careers. Subjects like mathematics, science and english help students develop their abilities and prepare them for higher studies. moreover the school time is limited children can join external academies for physical education, studies should be more focused in school time.Students who want to make theri career in engineering and medical they should be more focused on academics rather then physical activities.
To sum up and offer my position, I support former view that physical education should be priorities of children's education.Although academic subjects are necessary for building a successful carrer but physical activities help children to stay focused in thier lifes and stay healthier.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives and state a clear preference for physical education in the conclusion. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons, including well-being and the possibility that exercise helps children concentrate; the second explains the academic case through future careers and preparation for further study. However, these points are mostly asserted rather than developed with specific examples or explanation. For instance, the claim that physical activity helps children make strong decisions is not clearly connected to a concrete situation, and the suggestion that students can attend external academies is not explored. Your position is clearest at the end, but could be established more directly in the introduction and supported consistently. Develop each main reason with a specific example and explain how it supports your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow in broad terms, and transitions such as “Discussing the former view” and “To sum up” signal the stages of the argument. However, some linking is mechanical or unclear. The opening sentence is difficult to follow, and “however” begins the second body paragraph without a clear connection to the preceding point. Several ideas are crowded together, particularly in the paragraph about academics, so the progression becomes less smooth. Use clearer topic sentences, divide long chains of ideas into separate sentences, and make references such as “former view” explicit enough that readers do not need to infer their meaning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “holistic development,” “student well-being,” “essential knowledge,” and “higher studies,” which helps communicate the main arguments. There is also an attempt to use more formal expressions such as “proponent” and “crucial role.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “counter claimed,” “sharpen the mind of child,” and “physical education should be priorities.” Spelling errors such as “childerns,” “upcomming,” and “carrer” are noticeable and reduce the overall control of vocabulary. Build a bank of accurate collocations for education and health, and proofread spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast structure with “Although” in the conclusion and a sentence explaining how subjects prepare students for further study. However, complex constructions are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. For example, “there is on going debate regarding physical education are an important part” has an incomplete grammatical relationship, while “there where many stages comes” combines incompatible verb forms and agreement. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “mind of child” and the run-on sequence beginning “moreover the school time is limited.” Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when their structure is secure.
