Student answer (Band 6.0)

Some people believe that physical education classes are an important part of a child's education. Others argue that it is more important to concentrate on academics during school time. Before explaining why I believe that physical education creates a major impact on improving skills in individuals education.

On the one hand, students should include physical fitness subject on compulsory basis to improve their overall performance and growth modernization. This is because it provides numerous advantages such as knowledge of health and wellness and coordination with motor skills. As a result, these skills provide them balanced growth between health and education. For instance, young one's who includes fitness education in their part of life are well developed for the future growth and development which assist them in every part of life.

On the other hand, students should provide more concentration on academics during school time. It enables children to achieve desired grades which helps them to achieve better jobs in the future growth. For example, students with high grades have high chances to get jobs in reputed company. However, From my perspective students should include physical fitness subject as a compulsory subject in their academics.

To sum up, Although academic subjects plays a crucial role during school time of students.I believe that providing fitness education can be more beneficial for individuals progress.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the discussion. The ideas are introduced but not fully developed; for example, the argument regarding 'motor skills' and 'future growth' is quite brief and lacks specific, illustrative examples. Because the response is under-length, the development of ideas is restricted, preventing it from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations and concrete examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with clear transitions such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand'. However, the flow is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, such as the introductory sentence which is a fragment rather than a complete thought. Cohesive devices are used, but they are sometimes repetitive or used in a mechanical way. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the lack of length makes the overall structure feel somewhat underdeveloped. Improving the transition between sentences would help the essay flow more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'growth modernization' and 'young one's', which are not standard collocations. The vocabulary is somewhat repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'important' and 'achieve'. To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that your word choices are appropriate for the context of an essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. For instance, the sentence 'Before explaining why I believe that physical education creates a major impact on improving skills in individuals education' is grammatically incomplete. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'academic subjects plays' and 'young one's who includes'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors limits the score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and sentence completion is essential.
