Student answer (Band 6.0)
Number of individuals believe that sports education lessons are the essential part of a child's schooling. Whereas on the other hand some people say that it is more important to concentrate on academics during school time. Both views have their merits and demerits. However, I support first statement that physical education classes are necessary.
The major advantage of having sports lesson is that it would allow pupils to stay fit and healthy. Moreover, it would help students to enhance their skills in any particular game and show their talent. This would give them the opportunity to play at big level such as national level and international level. For instance, my high school encouraged students to play archery and school provides the best international coach to trained them. Most of children showed their interest and now five of them are taking part in The Olympics. Furthermore, physical activities at school gives a break to learners from the monotonous routine and refresh their mind.
On the contrary, although, focusing on academics would enhance academic scores but it would create a stress among school children. There would be no fun and enjoyment in student's life. This would have a detrimental impact not only their mental heath but also their well-being.
In my opinion, school life is the time when a child develop his interest. It is also a stage where teenagers needs to enhance their mental and physical health.
In conclusion, I reiterate by saying physical education classes play an important role in child's school life for his well-being. Focusing only on academics would result in stress and preventing students to grow.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the health benefits of sports and the potential stress of an academic-only focus. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the argument regarding academic pressure is mentioned but not fully explored with specific consequences or depth. While the example of the archery team is a good personal touch, the overall discussion remains a bit superficial. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on the 'why' and 'how' of your arguments with more detailed analysis rather than just stating the points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'On the contrary' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the awkward phrasing in the opening sentence ('Number of individuals believe...'). The paragraphing is appropriate, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences connect more naturally to one another.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'detrimental impact', 'monotonous', and 'reiterate'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'at big level' instead of 'at a high level' or 'to trained them' (grammatical error affecting lexical accuracy). The vocabulary is generally functional but lacks the sophistication and precision required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning collocations (e.g., 'academic pressure' instead of 'create a stress') and ensuring that your word choices are contextually accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally hinder the flow. For instance, 'Number of individuals believe' should be 'A number of individuals believe', and 'teenagers needs' should be 'teenagers need'. Additionally, there are issues with article usage and verb forms (e.g., 'to trained them'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
